-Farmhouse-

Virgil looks out the window above the kitchen sink. His hands were wet from washing dishes but he briefly stopped and saw his husband Roman chop wood for the fireplace outside. He smiled to himself, internally joking that Roman was a lumberjack because he was wearing a red flannel shirt and was chopping wood

The couple moved into a farmhouse in the countryside 6 years ago after wanting peace and quiet from the city. Both Roman and Virgil work from home and their incomes go back into the farm, as the house is old and in need of repairs. They converted the barn into a guest house, where they're currently staying in as the farmhouse gets fixed up

Virgil refocused on washing the dishes but kept stealing glances at his husband, blushing when he saw Roman briefly stop chopping so that he could take off his red flannel and tie it around his waist. Now, Roman had on a white tank top, revealing strong arms and broadish shoulders even though it's 60-70 degrees outside. Roman did have defined muscles but he wasn't built like a wrestler, more so an athlete who goes to the gym often

Eventually, Roman collected the pile of wood he chopped and carried them inside. Virgil smiled when he saw his husband go into the house, still blushing as he looked at Roman's muscles. Roman chuckled, kissing Virgil's forehead then briefly left to put the pile of wood next to the fireplace that was original to the farmhouse but then moved to the barn

Roman put down the wood in a basket near the fireplace then went back to the kitchen, hugging Virgil from behind. Virgil smiled when Roman came over to him and kissed his cheek. This made Roman blush and hug Virgil more, making him giggle

Roman then picked up Virgil bridal style and carried him to the couch. Roman placed Virgil down then went to the fireplace and started a fire. He finished making a fire then sat next to his husband. Virgil climbed into Roman's lap as the TV was turned on, the couple watched some shows before it was very late at night. Virgil got tired after watching most of the episodes, but began falling asleep after 5 episodes passed. Roman turned off the TV and picked up Virgil bridal style again

Roman brought Virgil upstairs and laid him down on the bed. He got changed into more appropriate pajamas since light blue jeans would be uncomfortable to sleep in, Roman omitted the top half of his pajamas but changed out the blue jeans for fluffy red pants that also had a flannel pattern. Roman laid back down on the bed, cuddling with Virgil until he fell asleep for the night
