Summary:

(Because I feel I rushed some character development for Zib and Dim) A rehabilitation arc of sorts where Dim (Zim, who lost his Dib and decided to become him) tries to help Zib (Dib who lost his Zim and got possessed by Zim's pak) remember the joy of living again.)

Ironically this turned into a weird love story that was Zib and his pak. With poor Dim getting third wheeled lol, but I kinda liked the weird idea of Zib's pack getting jealous over Dim and stuff and was like. This is golden and went with it. Hahaha!

He stared into the dark purple skies of the universe and sighed. He starts blasting things and wrecking everything his hands get ahold of screaming in frustration and rage. How could this happen? The stupid Zim beat him and took everything from him! How does that idiot even do that! He's so stupid! And yet he just makes things work in his favor despite not being able to take down his own Dib! It's honestly annoying. It didn't help that his Dib tried to talk some sense to him and see the error of his ways. He would of done the same! Stupid hypocrite! They are both stupid! So if they are stupid? Why did they win? Why did he lose? Why is he alone?

There wasn't much he could do after that. He tried to make a way to hop into universes, but it didn't go anywhere. He started blowing up what's left the Zimvoid just to entertain himself. He had destroyed so much that it became nothing, but a bunch of rocks floating into space. He just kinda just went to sleep after that. Sleeping to pass the time as he was losing his will to stay determined and fight his situation. He's not sure how much time passed. It must of been years... his body was still technically human and aged and grew, but thanks to Zim's pak he managed to not starve to death or die from dehydration.

It was a weird thing to consider that Zim's pak was the only thing keeping him alive at the moment. Keeping him from suffocating from the lack of oxygen around him, keeping him warm as he floated on a random rock in space. He could almost here his Zim yelling at him.

"Get up! Don't give up! Zim said get up!"

Zim hated giving up and Dib laughed at that, "Look around us dumb ass. It's over. There's nothing left here for us here." He mentally reasoned with him.

"Zim don't care! If there's nothing here! Than we'll just find somewhere else to go that has something for us to conquer and destroy!" Zim taunted him in his head.

Dib didn't want to move. He just wanted it all to go back to what it was, before. The school bullies, the stupid fights with Zim, the staring of those who thought he was crazy and insane, and the struggle to prove them wrong. He'd take it all back over this.

"We are the Ultimate Zim! No one can beat us! So get up! We have work to do!" Zim shouted at him.

"We are alone Zim... so very alone... so very alone." Dib cried hugging his legs.

That actually made the voice in his head go quiet for some reason and he almost panicked, "Wait! Don't leave me to! Stay!" Dib called out at least wanting something to keep him company even if it's a weird voice in his head that he probably made up to make him feel better.

"You're so stupid." Zim sighed.

"You're right! I am stupid! I'm so very stupid. Everything you've every said to me... it's all true." Dib cried and the voice was quite again.

He screamed and flailed around a bit on his rock clawing at his hair. He started insulting Zim trying to provoke the voice in his head to make any noise, but it didn't.

More years passed and Dib just laid on the ground sleeping. He hasn't heard the voice in his head yell at him in so long and wondered if it left him too. Sometimes he could hear crying and figured it was just him.
