Summary:
The first arc is just about Keef's mom and how Keef became a hybrid of human and crytid.
Anyways this is a Keef heavy focused story that plays more with the idea that he's the hybrid of an evil crytid that people call mothman. But there's far more to his story and his relationship with mothman than what's originally told. Now revealed when not only Keef struggles to fight for control against the powers of the evil mothman he gets his power from, but another mothman shows up and actually tries to help Keef along with Dib and possibly Zim, who's bound to get dragged into the situation.
Will they be able to save Keef from the evil crytids dark corruption that threatens to pull Keef to the dark side, or was Keef doomed from the start!
Battle of the mothman!!! Show show hype my readers! I'm pumped for this shit!!!
(Also Indrid Cold from The Adventure Zone's Amnesty makes an appearance so slight spoiler with him from that podcast. Go listen to the podcast it's chef kiss.)
———————————————————It all began when she was living in that accursed town... The one where the bridge collapsed killing many of people.
West Virginia... The Silver Bridge.... Point Pleasant....
Everyone knows the story... how the bridge collapsed and a legend was born... The legend of mothman. The one that was said to be responsible for the bridge collapsing. They turned the legend into a positive thing and even worship the creature.
Carol knows better. That thing is a monster. An evil psychopath monster and she hopes that bridge killed it.
The drive to Ohio was a long one and an impulsive one. She was shaking, checking the skies for the black monster and it's red eyes, trying not to cry. If she had the gas and money she would of tried going further than Ohio, but Ohio would have to do.
There's a quiet city, where people don't ask questions. A place that few tourists ever go to. Full of trees and nature. Places she can hide from the eyes of the flying creature, though it probably not do her any good.
It was a raining when she met the creature. Her car broke down in middle of the road and she was miles from a gas station. She pulled over to the side and turned on her emergency signals.
The little blue 1973 Cadillac Eldorado. A prized family possession passed down her family line offered her much warmth in the fall raining weather. She had a change of clothes in the trunk of her car as she likes to make sure she's prepared for almost anything.
She regretted not putting it in the backseat as it has the umbrella inside it too along with a raincoat and she doesn't feel like getting out and getting soaked. She can barely see the roads let alone see the cars going past her. She thinks she blew a tire, because she's not low on gas and there was a loud concerning noise earlier.
She could call a tow service, but she doesn't get paid until next week and she needs this money as rent is due in three days and she's going to have to eat cheap food just to make it through this week until pay day comes around. She'll have to walk to work, take the bus or maybe ask a can and hope it's not too expensive or she's probably going to have to skip a few days of meals.
She sighed deeply looking at her curly ginger red hair and released it from the hair tie holding it in a professional bun. It looked ridiculous anyways. Her hair is always ridiculous honestly. Her curls never want to agree with her and look nice. They just want to look wild and unhinged.
At least she had the nice smell of her recently bought plants. She loved gardening and plants with all her heart. That's why she found so much peace being a Wall-store (Walmart) garden center service drone. It's a pretty good and stable job. She just has a lot of expenses to deal with since she recently moved here to live out on her own.
