ZaDR Oneshots (Invader Zim)

Without You PT1

Summary:

A Zim, who killed their Dib searches the multi universe for a new purpose as nothing they do fills the void in their heart. They stumble upon Zib, who is a Dib that killed his Zim and for the first time the tiny invader finds his heart stir and a purpose form. Can these dumb idiots finally  make things right or will they end up killing each other again.

"GAZ!!! DAD!" Dib screamed he's badly hurt he has a horrible gushing wound from where Zim's laser seared into his shoulder and his arm had fell off.

Zim is holding Dib's arm looking at him with more worry that the fact that he just accidentally shot a bridge that Dib's family was crossing and sent them to their watery graves.

"I have to save them!" Dib throws off his coat and jumps into the water making Zim hold back a cry of protest.

Dib tries swimming to the car as his dad is unconscious and Gaz is banging on the windows trying to break them.

"DIB!!!" Gaz looks scared and she's never scared.

"Zim has to help... but water will kill Zim." Zim didn't trust himself to fire his laser and try to melt the windows.

He might shoot Gaz or Dib's dad or worse Dib. Red liquid stained the water and Zim thinks he was screaming in horror. How did it all go wrong? He just wanted to give Dib his eighteen birthday present, but Dib's been so aggressive and violent towards him.

Dib just won't stop picking fights with Zim and he doesn't understand why, "Gir!!!" Zim screamed and the robot popped up.

"Sir!" Gir explains.

"Get the ship!" Zim shouted.

Gir calls the ship and Zim grabs Gir as he launched himself into the ship and uses the ship to start sucking up all the water trying to drain it all to save them.

Dib was trying to open the doors, or break the windows. He was getting weaker as Gaz was trying wake up her dad crying in desperation. The car was filling up with water slowly as it landed on the bottom of the river bed.

"Ahhhhh!!!!" Dib screamed in frustration underwater just to weak to reach them.

Water was burning his lungs and he was chocking and he lost too much blood. He felt dizzy and yet none of that mattered to him. He pulled at the car door trying to open it, so his sister can swim out of it with their father.

Gaz hits the car windows buttons in frustration, but the car isn't responding it's locked it's self down, because it's driver is unconscious.

The police and fire department and others are called by the car to assist the driver. Dib gulped down water and tries to grab his throat with his none existing left arm. Gaz notices the water getting lower and she moves her and dad to keep their heads above the water as she keeps trying to wake him up.

"Dib!" Gaz points to the surface as if telling him to get air now.

It's too late though. Dib is falling unconscious from blood lost and is drowning.

"DIB!!!" Gaz screamed in horror.

Zim finished draining the water and launched himself toward Dib and lands on top of him getting the water out of his lungs. He weakly tries to save Dib. He burns the wound with his laser to cauterize the wound as Zim rips the car door off making the water pour out saving Gaz and the human's dad.

Zim tries to listen for Dib's heart and looks at him in fear shaking like a leaf. Zim sees the ambulance, police and firefighters getting closer to them. Zim's feet are covered in the water and his feet are starting to smoke and pain enters them, but he doesn't care.
