Voot Scoot & Boogy PT3 (edit)

You wake up to your alarm going off. You head to the bathroom to get cleaned up and put on some fresh new clothes. Today is Saturday, so you have all day to yourself. You decided to open your computer and check in with Swollen Eyeball Network for any cases you can take on crytid hunting.

There are a few you can get in on, but you're going to need more information about them and you can't do that at the moment. You decided to ask the Network about the wraith haunting around lake to see if they have any more information on that as your also interested in checking that out as well.
After you finish up and eat some breakfast, you grab your books and head out to the front porch. You see Zim waving at you as he eagerly and happily holds a present in his hands. You stare at him for a bit as he approaches you.

"Good morning Dib worm did you sleep well?" Zim purred.

"I guess." You nodded.

"I made you something! I hope you like it!" Zim eagerly hands over the gift.

"You didn't have to." You smiled at him and unwrap it.

It looks like glasses they are similar to the ones you wear, "You made these?" You asked him.

"Yes! Try them! Tell Zim if you like!" He bounced with glee.

You're a bit hesitant to do so. As you recall the last gift Zim gave to someone ripped out their eyes and replaced it with robotic ones. Keef has never been the same again.  You don't want the same to happen to you.

"Zim do you really want my opinion?" You ask him.

"Oh good! You like them already! Now you can see like me!" Zim gushed.

"See like you?" You asked.

"Yes! Zim was thinking how inferior your normal glasses are. If they break they hurt you. And without them you're a blind. And even then your vision is sadly lacking." Zim explained.

"Zim recalled how you were worried about being caught in crytid trap and rightfully relied on Zim's superior eye sight to check for danger. So Zim made you these!" Zim smiled.

"Zim could fix your eyes, but uh... Zim figured you might freak out with that... you know considering what Zim did to Keef in the past." Zim shyly fidgets.

"At least you're aware that Id be on guard cause of that." You sighed.

"Yes! So these are indestructible. They have night vision, thermal imaging, a built in camera that takes pictures and records things, has x-ray vision, and high definition imaging that lets you see the world as Irken do and a few other species probably, they can also turn into googles and be worn underwater and cling to your head so they can't be thrown off you. Zim put a lot of time and thought in making it truly amazing and worth of your greatest! And figured the camera and recording was a nice touch since you love chasing those monster things. Oh! And Zim even out in a built in translator and gps! You're welcome!" Zim crossed his arms smirking and it sounds too good to be true honestly.

"You're a pain in the ass Zim." You shook your head.

"You're still going to wear them though right?" Zim asked cutely.

"Zim I can't put that much trust in you." You shaked your head.

"Oh." Zim looks sad, "Okay then..." he looks hurt.

Your fingers trace the glasses, "I love the thought though. It's something that I'd really like to have... But I can't trust you to accept this to not be a trap." You sighed.

"No it's okay. Zim just miscalculated. Zim will do better with the next one." His voice cracked, "Zim needs to go think now." He turns away looking so crushed and you felt bad.
