Invader Zim: Battle of Kings (Chapter One: Darkest Birthday)

Sometime after the Florpus....
(Spoilers for Enter the Florpus obviously)

A summary of events:

The destructive Invader Zim has been sent to Earth on a fake mission to destroy it. Their he mets the human Dib Membrane and they become fast rivals. Zim performs many antics that involve the earth's destruction or conquering only to end in failure thanks to Dib's interference. With only a few adventures of both of theirs being unrelated to Zim trying to conquer/destroy earth.

After sometime, Zim learns the truth about his mission and loses his confidence and Dib tries to use this to his advantage only for it to backfire horribly. Inspired by Professor Membrane, Zim helps Professor's Peace Day succeed so Zim can use the power of Peace Day to teleport Earth in front of the Massive and Armada causing a Florpus to appear. The Membrane Family team up together and managed to foil Zim's plans and The Massive and The Armada fly into the Florpus as Earth is teleported back to safety.

Zim once again denies his failure and from than on decides to try to kill Dib instead of conquering and destroying the Earth with an intense passion. Despite having the love and respect of his father finally vocalized to him, Dib is struggling with manic depression, which he hides with a good happy attitude.

Now with the Armada and Massive gone... The brains must find a replacement, which brings about another chain of events and King discovering that Zeek lives, which makes King eager to reach him personally.

It's been awhile since Zim has reported to the Tallest. He knows he should. His gut clenched at the thought though. He should try to think of a new way to destroy Dib first. Yes! After all, it's Dib's fault that Zim hasn't been able to do anything! However... his Pak is going off to remind him to send his first weekly report...

It doesn't feel like it's been a week since Zim created the Florpus, but it has been. Zim has made himself busy with daily plans to kill Dib. He hasn't done his daily plan today, but a quick briefing shouldn't be too bad right?

Zim heads to his toilet flushing himself down the Irken elevator that takes him to his lab. He heads to the giant crude looking Irken computer screen that's way too outdated. As he stands on a platform in front of it he cleared his throat.

"Computer call the tallests!" The Irken Invader dressed in his signature fuchsia tunic with hot pink trim confidently spoke.

"Calling..." The house base's AI spoke in a male robotic voice, "Error connection not found." The computer announced.

The antennas on Zim's head perked up high as if standing at attention as he looked confused. That was odd. The connection to the Massive should still be fine. Maybe it got messed up in the Florpus. Yes that must be it.

"Begin to fix the connection than. I'm going to think about how I should destroy my rival today." Zim replied.

That was that. Zim simply forgot about it until the next week came along. The connection was still not found, so Zim simply told computer to try harder. This went on and on for a good while.

Today is Zim's rival's birthday. Zim hadn't really noticed the birthday things before. Since his plans were usually weekly, he actually didn't watch Dib as much as he probably should have. Plus, now Dib has Clem and Professor more or less doting on him, so Dib was really excited about this birthday. Zim was trying to think of a way to ruin his rival's birthday. He wanted it to be extra nasty, just for Dib.

His Pak reminded him it was time to do his weekly report. Zim groaned as he made his way to the lab. As he was heading down his Pak started beeping and a screen came out. It was all techno colored and glitchy at first with the error screen. Than a fuchsia pink screen appeared with hot pink Irken text.
