Back on earth...
Zeek was kind enough to help Dib start digging out the stuff in the storage. It took awhile, because Dib talked a lot about how he got it and where it came from. Zeek, who give him a soft and patient smile and listen to him and talk occasionally ask some questions.
"Have you ever been to Zim's planet before?" Zeek asked.
"I don't think so." Dib couldn't recall if he did or not.
"How far have you two gone away from earth?" Zeek asked.
"I think about four galaxies over. Zim's planet he says is eight galaxies over. Hey look. I get that you're trying to be supportive and stuff. And that's great. But you don't have to pretend for my sake." Dib looks at Zeek seriously.
Zeek looks at the ship and back at Dib slightly frowning and sighed, "I wish I was pretending. But honestly... None of this is all that surprising to me. What's surprising is you have so much of it."
Zeek admits."What do you mean? Do you actually think this is real?" Dib blinked in awe.
"I'm sure if I said that Professor would start thinking I'm the crazy one. Let's just say. I believe you, but I won't admit you're right." Zeek offers.
Dib started at him long and hard unsure how to process that, "So you believe, but you won't admit it?" Dib asked and Zeek nodded.
"I mean just look at how people treat you and my grandfather who try to admit their beliefs. People don't want to hear it Dib. They rather live in their ignorant worlds forever." Zeek sighed deeply.
Dib looks at him softly and thoughtfully, "Can you prove it? That you're a believer?" He asked.
"Hmmm... it's a bit hard. As I've been careful to cover up my habits and findings under the disguise of science. For example my sword." Zeek unclipped his sheathed katana, "It looks perfectly normal. But it's far from normal." Zeek unwrapped the leather wrapping from the katana to reveal the buttons it has.
"Some would argue that this could be made on earth. And who am I to disagree with those that think that." Zeek pulled the grey sword out of it's sheath and clipped the sheath back to his magnetic belt.
"If you look closely at the blade their is barely visible alien star map lines across it." Zeek stabbed the ground and pulled out a magnifying glass for Dib to use, "Don't touch it's sharp that the slightest wrong touch will cut." Zeek explains.
Dib takes the magnifying glass and carefully looks over the blade in awe, "What's the star map for?" Dib asked.
"Some aliens believed when they die. They turn into stars. So soldiers would carve out star maps of newly discovered stars after the death of friends, family and leaders to honor them and to channel their protection into the weapon itself. And it made them feel like when they died they would become a star on that map to rejoin them all." Zeek had trouble holding back some emotions in his explanation.
"It could just be a bunch of lines with circles randomly drawn on it." Dib handed the magnifying glass back to him.
"True. But I think the hilt seal is what confirms it is a space weapon. It holds the symbol of the species it belongs to." Zeek explained.
Dib looked at the silver end hilt guard. His eyes went wide in shock. It was an Irken head with a crown on it.
"This is Irken!" Dib gasped as he looked at Zeek, who nodded, "Who are you?" He asked confused, "Why is there a crown?" Dib asked confused.
"Irken royalty seal most likely." Zeek hummed, "As for who I am. I'm agent Darkbooties grandson. Agent Z. Nice to met you agent Mothman." Zeek smiled softly.
