Back on earth....

The office was a typical workspace in his father's lab. Clean. Not a trace of dirt, gunk, or germs. The smell of Pine-Sol, the boring white walls, ceilings and floors with way too bright lights and a fake window. Dib took a seat in the stiff as brick chair recliner as Zeek went behind the desk to wheel the chair over toward Dib and sit across from him.

Dib rolled his eyes. He could already tell this guy was going to be one of those self help people. He didn't trust any of the since the incident with Dwicky the Skool counselor. Zeek looked at Dib and paused hesitating. Zeek slowly took his seat keeping his body gesture relaxed and lowered as if showing Dib that Zeek submits to him and he's the one in charge.

Dib just kept that forced smile on his face and tied to act like everything is okay. Nothing wrong! Nope absolutely nothing.

"Sup Mr. Z?!? You wanted to talk to me?" Dib tried to keep his voice happy and carefree.

Zeek visibly cringed at the nickname, but relaxed and he tapped his legs with his fingers for a second trying to calculate his next move as this wouldn't be an easy task.

"Well... I was thinking... Since you technically work with gramps... We can work together. I can be your investigating partner." Zeek explained.

Dib blinked a few times and felt his mask slip a bit. A partner? He always thought about getting one. He didn't mind the idea. Though he's not sure how much help a non believer will be, but Zeek seems to be letting Dib know that he's willing to listen to him. A weird giddiness swept through Dib.

He's never been the boss of someone, before. He's always been the one bossed around. It might actually be a nice change of pace. Still he needed to make sure this man wasn't going to betray him later...

"Well. Can you do me a favor? Dad put all my stuff in a storage-" Dib started and Zeek pulled out some keys and Dib made a barely audible speak as like a cat swatted at the keys trying to catch them, before he did.

"Shall we head over there?" Zeek stands up keeping himself low despite his height difference.

Dib started at him and the eyes and a real smile crossed his face even if it's s but twisted and wrong.

The limo was amazing. Dib wanted to explore it and had to resist as he watched Zeek carefully drive it. He didn't have any petals, or a gear shift. Zeek simply typed in the location and his AI started the car and the vehicle started to move. This felt weirdly familiar... There was a strange screen on the dashboard that was completely touch screen. Zeek touched a few things to play the radio. The screen has some English text and the rest was in Latin, which was odd.

The whole situation was just screaming at Dib to investigate further. He hesitated as he reached for the screen and looked at Zeek like a deer in headlights.

"May I?" Dib asked.

"But of course!" Zeek smiled, "Investigate it to your hearts content." Zeek nodded to him.

Dib tried to hold back another real smile as he started messing around with the screen. He clicked on something and than a strange text said 'Access denied.' It's been a long time since Dib had investigated a good mystery or bothered a cryptid other than Zim. His senses must be rather dull, because he just decided to accept that instead continuing to poke around.

"Did you make the limo?" Dib asked quietly glancing out the black tainted windows at the world passing them by.

"My father made the blueprints for it." Zeek explained, "But yes. I put it together." He nodded.
