He's been a little happier to switch to hologram disguise. Though it's a bit nerve wrecking when he goes out and yet exciting. He has reasoned that due to his indecision, he desires for someone to discover to force him to take action and force him down a path of no return.

There's nothing wrong with peace though, but it's not a peace he felt that should belong to him and it feels so bitter sweet.

Zeek is sitting at the tables at the coffee shop with his trench coat hanging on the back of his seat as he drinks the bitter coffee shivering at the disgusting taste, but it makes him feel so awake and alive.

Carter bounced up and takes a seat next to him eager to annoy Zeek again. Zeek sighed and smiled despite himself at his silly human friend. Carter is a weird human that likes to put himself in needless danger and gets way to excited about making a discovery.

Carter had dyed his hair pure white, because he hated his ash dirty blonde hair. It's oddly fitting with his pastel blue eyes, fair skin, white lab coat and light blue and white striped collared shirt with blue jeans. He looks so youthful even with his silver framed glasses and gray tie. He had the young ambitious energy to match as well.

His brother is Dr. Nylund, who can come off a bit cold, but means well. He has ash dirt blonde hair, green eyes, peachy skin, with white lab coat, dark blue and white striped collar shirt, dark blue denim jeans, and black tie with the same silver framed glasses.

They are technically identical twins and Zeek can see they tend to accidentally match their clothes. Though Nylund is definitely more businesslike and maturer than his twin.

Both who Zeek has come to work with often and get to know. Carter acts more of Zeek's personal assistant and sometimes even had moody moments that remind him of days he accidentally bothers Nylund when he doesn't want to deal with people.

"Good morning Carter." Zeek sipped his coffee smiling.

It's still weird to think... That these humans are... The closest things Zeek has to friends and family. They are his people and he's going to protect them all with his life.

"Good morning!!!!" Carter is just fidgeting with excitement again, "We got some readings that we should look into!" He smiled as if begging to come with.

"Is Meb forcing you to come with me again?" Zeek sighed sipping more coffee.

"No... but you know... I don't really get enough field work..." Carter begged.

Zeek sighed as weighed the options. It's both a comfort and curse to bring Carter. Humans are so quick to die from the creatures that hide among them on the planet.

"Alright. You can come this time. But. You stay close! You don't leave my side and you follow orders!" Zeek warned him strictly.

"Yes sir!!!" Carter looks like he might self destruct in joy.

Zeek finished his coffee and gets up putting his trench coat on tap his bracelet and type on it, "Heading out to check something with Carter."

He waited for a replay and sighed when he didn't get one. Zeek tried not to think about it as he heads toward the entrance with Carter. Professor sees them and waves.

"Heading out as well?" Professor asked.

"Mhmmm. Going on a little field mission with Carter." Zeek hummed as they walked outside the building together.

"That's good. Carter needs a break from working all day inside." Professor explains.

"I think everyone does. It be nice to organize an outdoor activity for everyone at the labs. Maybe roast hotdogs and marshmallows. A fun change of pace." Zeek slightly joked.

"Is that so? That's actually not a bad idea. I'll see if we can't make something happen." Professor smiled and Zeek watched him head home.

Zeek blushed and heads toward the campground where the signal is, "So what's the report on the target? Type it to me." Zeek tells Carter, who nodded and typed the report on his bracelet and sends it to Zeek.

"Hmm... sightings of a lizard person attacking people... he's probably hiding in the underground labyrinth... it's far to danger to take Carter down there... than I'll check the attack sightings and talk with people and do the harmless stuff first." Zeek thinks.

They walked for a bit, "Hey... Zeek... uh... I noticed that you're... like uh..." Carter fidgets shyly.

Zeek froze when he saw a kid with a metal pak with another human. He didn't realize he's out and about today.

"So there's lizard people now? And I thought fish people were the worst. Disgusting!" Zim hissed glaring at the eighteen year old human boy in a black trench coat.

"I think it's kinda cool! Lizard man is an old classic among crytid stories." Dib tells Zim happily as they head into a cafe shop.

"Zeek!" Carter steps in front of him and Zeek blinked, "I think I love you!" Carter tells him.

"No." Zeek smiled at him and walked around him ready to get this over with.

"Why not?!?" Carter cried as he chased after Zeek.

"I'm not the type to play hero or save damsels... Being a solider is one thing, but if you can't keep up with me. I'm going to leave you behind. And you Carter. You can try as you like. But you'll never be able to keep up with me and fight with me as my equal." Zeek tells him coldly.

"I'll! I'll train really hard! I'll become the best fighter ever!" Carter bounced in front of Zeek, who stopped to sighed.

"Than until I see progress. It's a no. I don't need the one I choose as my life partner dying on me, because they are weak and can't hold their own." Zeek tells him a bit coldly.

"Okay." Carter sighed as he continued to follow Zeek, "So it's not because you and the boss have this secret affair going on?" Carter asked.

"Carter. Make sure to strangle anyone who dares suggest such a stupid and disgusting rumor. Meb and I are strict professionals in ever way and sense. He knows I can handle the work he gives me. I'm determined like him." Zeek explained.

"Oh good! I was starting to wonder, but yeah your right! You're a hard worker like Meb so that's why he relies so much on you!" Carter chirped happily following Zeek as they head out of town and head to the campgrounds.
