2nd Arc of The Threat Is Real PT 3 (End of Story)

"But I wuv you!" Zim teased him and really didn't care who saw him doing this to Dib as he was just enjoying this.

Dib gives Zim a quick look that seems to tell him how adorable he was to him and Dib smiled again.

"Is that right?" Dib asked and suddenly Zim felt like this whole dynamic shifted on him in an instant.

He looked down at Zim and grabbed his chin to made him look up at him, "Maybe I should kiss you then." The amount of smooth teasing that held as infinite.

Zin immediately stumbled backwards shaking his head and waved his hands no, "No! No! I'm good! I'm good!" He told him.

"Awl... but I thought you said you wuved me." He sticks tongue out at Zim in a playful away as if telling him two can play at his game.

Zim blushed and glared at him hatefully, "Obviously that's just me joking around!" He tried not to growl.

Dib laughed as it was weirdly relaxing and fun just to annoy Zim. Dib sees the scientists looking at them both and cough.

"Right then. Shall I introduce you to the group?" Dib smiled.

"Yeah." Zim sighed and Dib introduced him to the people in this department.

They were all really nice. One of them, a tall woman introduced as Doctor Marrissa, asked him how he was doing. Zim told her and asked her about this MEM experiment. It wasn't anything Zim could use to further his goals and he lost interest quickly and happily ran over to Dib.

"Are we going to the next department I'll be working at now?" Zim smiled at him finding Dib more interesting than anything here.

"Probably not." He tells Zim as he walks him out of the lab. "We'll go there soon enough."

Zim look at him and tilt his head, "But why not now?"

"Because this place is filled with lots of opportunities for you to influence the future. You've already been doing a lot, but I need you to keep doing that." Dib explained.

"All I did was give suggestions though." Zim felt a bit embarrassed at his praise as he doesn't feel he's earned it.

"And what if I mess up or something?" Zim asked, worried.

"Don't." He tells him and walks him outside.

"Don't he says like that's easy to do." Zim thinks rolling his eyes as he thinks to himself.

"So where are we going?" Zim asked Dib following him around.

"Well I have a meeting I have to go to, but I was thinking we could go to the park." Dib explained.

Zim looked at him confused, "But that's way uptown."

"Yeah but it won't take that long if we take the company car." He heads to the parking lot and gestures to the cars, "You're free to use these to travel if needed. But we want them back in one piece." Dib tells him as he gets inside one.

Zim crawled into the passenger seat and buckled up as Dib starts the car and drives off.

"Is the meeting on the way to the park too?" Zim asked him curiously.

"No, it's held at the lab." He tells him as he drives.

"Oh." Zim just now realized that.

"What's the meeting about?" Zim asked Dib curiously watching the building pass them both by as he drives to the park.

"I told you already. It's a meeting." Dib explained.

Zim sigh and stared out the window. He remembers how nice it felt to be needed and likes that Dib trusts him to do something.
