"If you can see the future... couldn't you see which lottery ticket is going to win and buy one and cash in?!? Or you can go to the stock market and invest in the correct stocks at the proper times and get lots of money!" Carol had to ask as they were trying to discuss finances.

"The lottery always brings about unwanted attention and attraction of people. I'd like to avoid being the center of attention as much as possible." Indrid groaned, but considers the stock market idea for a brief second.

"I guess I could try to abuse my power to invest properly in the stock market, but my powers are kinda like the stock market. The smallest of changes can effect the outcome. So I have to look at multiple different outcomes to find a common thread and hope my following the common thread I reach the desired outcome. However. If I'm trying to change the course of future. It's a much different process. One that's very unpredictable and requires often getting involved with others to accomplish." Indrid sighed.

"That sounds like a headache." Carol looked at him sympathetically.

"It can be at times." Indrid admitted, "Anyways I'll give the stock market a chance. But I do have a job as a traveling business consultant. So it's not like I'm completely broke and unable to make money." Indrid explained.

"How did you managed that since well... monster obviously don't have proper identification..." Carol explained shyly.

"The witches and more human like Crytids do their best to pull a few strings for us. It's mostly the witches though as they are born in human society and can get proper identification and the likes." Indrid explains.

"I see. So does this mean there's like a secrete society of crytipds out of there?" Carol asked.

"Well.. kinda of. Its very small groups trying to help the others out and keeping everything undercover. Sometimes there's a few councils here and there that try to take care of problematic crytipds... as there's even intelligent crytids that can be hostile as they lack empathy or a some other human trait." Indrid sighed deeply.

"I... I was joking." Carol blushed and looked shy and fidgety now.

"Haha." Indrid chuckled softly watching the human women act so cutely.

He sighed deeply, "Perhaps... I was wrong when I said I am not lonely..." he spoke softly.

"Indrid?" Carol asked him looking deep into his crimson lensed round framed glasses.

"Even with the other Crytids... I don't spend as much time with them as I probably should. Talking to you like this is nice. Im not as annoyed as I thought I would be answering your questions." Indrid explained.

"Is it because you basically know what-" Carol asked and gets cut off.

"Yes. It's because most of the time I see what they are going to say, before they say it." Indrid admits.

"So you can't-" she asked.

"Turn off my powers? Unfortunately no." Indrid tells her.

"Do you interrupt-" Carol tried to ask.

"Yes. I have a bad habit of doing that. Im sorry. Am I annoying you?" Indrid asked her apologetically.

Carol shakes her head, "It's fine. I don't mind too much. It's not easy for me to speak to others... I too... have trouble with interacting with people." Carol admits.

"Miss Carol." Indrid frowned and takes her hand into his hand, "I can tell you're lonely... I hope you find a truly amazing man to love you. You deserve it." He kissed her hand making her blush and her stomach do flips.

Carol started to get all flustered, "Wait! Wait! If you see the future!!! How far?!? Can you see..." Carol covered her face blushing like crazy.

"Haha. Yes. I can see how much you've fallen for me." Indrid tells her softly.

"Just kill me now." Carol cried.

"Hahaha. You humans are so easily flustered." Indrid chuckled and gently kissed her forehead.

"I don't even know what to say. I guess. Sorry?" Carol tells him.

"Oh no don't be sorry. It's..." Indrid tried to explain it, "Adorable."

"Do you even feel attracted to humans? I mean I know there's only one of your kind naturally born... but do you all mate with different naturally born crytipds or us humans or are you all just like asexual and just aren't interested in reproducing at all?" Carol blurted as Indrid looks a bit shy.

"To some extend we are asexual. We don't naturally think about having families or even starting romantic relationships. But it does happen from time to time. If we become close to anyone crytid or human we will choose to enter in romantic and sexual relationships with them. The species doesn't matter to us as we often don't have another one of our species to mate with. In any case... theirs a lot more for me to consider when considering those type of things. Like if I want my offspring to bare my powers and abilities or not." Indrid explained calmly.

"I apologize but Imma consider that one a two part question." Indrid explains calmly.

"Okay." Carol nodded shyly, "Is it uncomfortable being in your human form?" She asked him.

"I've gotten used to it for the most part, but I need to return to my true form once and while or it'll start to cripple my abilities." Indrid explained softly.

Carol looks at the floor shyly, "I know you're scared to get close to people... but it's not good to isolate yourself from others either. So uh..." Carol blushed, "Give me a chance. I want to be part of your life. I want to get to know you better." Carol shot her shot.

Indrid's face turned deep red as he couldn't help, but smile at her for being so brave and cute like that.

"Even though I'm not human? And could kill you at any second?" Indrid asked her coldly.

Carol looks away sadly, "I hate myself. Because... It's a hard fear to overcome. But I believe in you Indrid! You're a kind man! You won't do it!" Carol looked at him determined.

Indrid looks away as he runs his hand through his hair feeling troubled by this.

"I... want to take care of you. I want to worry over you. I want to cook you food. I want talk to you more. I just feel... I feel like I get along with you really well. I find it easy to talk to you." Carol smiled taking his hand, "I don't have anything I feel like hiding from you." She tells him.

Indrid was staring at her reading her carefully and thinking, "Miss Carol. You can do way better than me." He tells her sheepishly.

"I just want a few dates. I won't ask anything else from you." Carol tells him, "You do owe me!" She puffed cutely.

"Haha! You're cruel Miss Carol! Well I had a feeling you'd say that. Alright. Because I owe you. I will at least take you on a few dates. But no promises I'll fall for you." Indrid tells her.

Carol gets up and throws herself into his arms and smiled brightly as she hugged him. Indrid just sighed and pats her back, but he couldn't help, but smile a bit.

"I'm going to take you everywhere once the rain stops!" Carol gushed.

"Haha. I know. Miss Carol I know. And I look forward to it." Indrid tells her softly.
