Dib didn't have the slightest freaking clue what the hell he's supposed to be doing to show Zim that being his friend and that this truce was worth it. To make things worse he promised to let Zim destroy and conquer his planet if he failed. In hindsight, he really shouldn't of promised that. He was far too giddy at the idea of Zim being his true friend for once. They've been through so much together.

It made him so happy to know that the alien also wants to be his friend as well. Zim admitted that even if he didn't vocally admit that. Dib will never let Zim forget that. Feeling the tiny invader pat his back in awkward way was okay. Than Zim surprised him actually giving him a real hug.

For a moment they held each other, arms wrapped around the other in a friendly embrace. No pak legs trying to kill Dib or claws trying to rip into his flesh or Dib trying to punch and knock the invader off him. It was a new experience for them both. To be this close and not trying to kill the other.

Dib was beyond ecstatic. He snuggled the invader as if he was his best friend in the whole world. Zim seemed more uncomfortable with the hug though.

"How long do these hugs last?" Zim complained.

"Oh! S-sorry!" Dib shyly pushed Zim away gently, "Got carried away there." He coughed as it's kinda been awhile since his last hug so maybe he's a bit more clingy than he'd like to admit right now.

"Uh huh... are we going to have to do this hugging ritual often?" Zim winced.

"N-Noo... just once and while maybe..." Dib rubbed his arm with hand feeling a bit embarrassed.

"Well that's good I guess. I rather not touch you anymore more than I have to." Zim tells him.

"Rrright." Dib nodded.

"So... what happens now?" Zim asked feeling confused.

"Uh.... Wanna come over and play video games? Maybe watch movies?" Dib asked shyly.

"Not in particularly... unless it's something I'm supposed to be doing to give this weird truce and friendship a chance." Zim replied.

Dib sighed deeply. It seems it's going to be like that.

"Alright than. You are required to at least do this just once to see if you like it." Dib tells him.

"Ugh! Fine! I'll go to your stupid smelly house and be with your stupid smelly family!" Zim grumbled not happy about it, but willing to at least give it a shot.

"T-thanks. I'll uh... grab you some sugary earth treats. I'm not sure of all the candy you can have, but it's something sweet so it should be safe in theory." Dib tells him.

Zim relaxed a bit, "That does make things a bit more tolerable." Zim perked up a bit.

"Good. Let's head to the store than. I'll show you all the different types of sweets we got. I'll pay so no stealing." Dib quickly scolded Zim.

"Finnne... imma do it anyways later you know." Zim tells him as he started following Dib to the store.

"Than do it when I'm not around so I'm not associated with you and I'm not civil bound to try and stop you." Dib sighed.

The convenience store was a small one with automatic doors, about six isles and a long countertop with two working registers. Dib crossed the white titled floors to head toward the third isle that had all the candy, chips and jerky. He pulled out his wallet from his back pocket that's chained to his belt incase people like Zim try to steal his wallet. He opened up the sleek black wallet to pull out a bunch of cash and count it.
