"So... Zim is kinda both the pak and the vessel?" Dib asked.

"In a way yes. Zim's personally has very little say in what the pak will do in its emergency response state though." Zeek explained.

"And you built the paks..." Dib had obvious distaste in his voice.

"Yes. I did.... It wasn't an easy decision for me to make either. If not me. So other person would take my place and do it. But... I knew something... the others didn't. I realized the control brains would a direct psychic link to control the paks through the brain piece they put inside it. Meaning that control brains could use that brain piece to make the pak alter itself and alter the personalities, perception and more of the Irken who wore effectively brainwashing all of Irken race. I failed to stop that Dib. Zim and all the Irkens are brainwashed!" Zeek tells him.

"What... why didn't you tell me this before?" Dib asked.

"It's not something I can tell Zim! Dib. I need Zim to trust me. He's in very bad situation. And you and I are the only ones that care enough enough to help him. And professor! You can't give up on Zim just yet. I know you want to. I know it's been hard. But more than ever Zim needs you Dib to be on his side and help him stray away from the brainwashing that controls his mind!" Zeek explained.

"I... I need to think." Dib said.

"Son! Zim is your friend! You practically cried and complained about him not showing up school and how you didn't want to go to school anymore. So let you be homeschool. You then locked yourself in your room and didn't bath or show just so you can watch and be ready for the moment he showed up again. I am not going to let you do that again if you lose Zim and regret it. You go get your green friend. And you bring him home! Understood?" Professor tells Dib.

"Y-yes sir." Dib sighed.

"Alright then. Let's go get him." Reo chimed.

Dib and Reo got closer to Zim's position. Zim was playing Simon says on the console letting his mind blank out. He didn't want to think. Part of him wanted to send an apology call to Zeek. The ship's alarms started him.

"Warning approaching ship." The computer explained. Zim looks at the screen to see it's Dib's ship tailing after him.

Zim took a deep breath, "Open communication with the other ship." Zim ordered.

"Incoming transmission from Zim." Reo tells Dib as a screen appears and Zim is see standing behind his console.

"Dib worm! Why are you here!" Zim hissed as Dib struggled to think of what to say to him.

"Zim! I'm glad to see you!" Dib said.

"Huh? Glad to see me?!? You make no sense!" Zim screamed.

"Well uh... hormones Zim. They make a person very uh... moody. Like I can be super happy, super angry and stuff." Dib coughed deciding that's the simplest explanation.

"Is that's what's been happening?" Zim blinked.

"Yeah... so... uh... I realized I might of said some things I didn't mean at the time. And for that... I'm..." Dib inhaled as hates apologizing, "I'm sorry! Please come back to earth and let's work together to complete our Antarctica mission!" Dib begged.

"I do not want to go back to earth! I hate earth! I've always hated earth! It's time I buckle up and face Tallest Ammar!" Zim explains.

"He wants you dead! You said so yourself! Please! Zeek wants you to live! Don't you want to live for tallests Zeek?" Dib groaned.

"No! I don't want to live! But I do want to stop Ammar from killing you! I've always wanted to stop him from killing you!" Zim yelled.

"Zim the only threat to my life is you." Dib said and winced as he probably shouldn't of said that.
