ZaDR Oneshots (Invader Zim)

2nd Arc of The Threat Is Real PT 1

On Irk.

Zim wakes up in the voot. He gets out and his robots follow him as he tried to recollect his fuzzy thoughts.

He heads for the throne room to find Miyuki is there talking to some researchers. Zim tried to remember if there was supposed to be someone else here or not.

"Zim?!? You're back!" Miyuki looked surprised.

"Uh yes... what happened?" Zim asked.

Miyuki shakes her head, "Tallest Ray became defective after the enemy invaded and killed his life partner. Tallest Apollo had to kill Ray because he was threatening to kill us. Then Tallest Apollo flew himself into the sun once he realized he had became defective from guilt of what he did. Currently I am now the tallest." She explains.

"Oh... I'm sorry I wasn't here to help with any of that." Zim explained.

"It's fine my little one. You were on an invader/researcher mission with another Irken..... what was their name again? Zee? What happened to them?" She asked.

"I... I don't remember." Zim started crying.

Miyuki hugged him, "Perhaps the mission was a cruel one. Why don't you stay on Irk for a bit. You can try your hand at building again. Or maybe if you want you can return to the academy or boot camp."

"If it's okay with my tallest... Zim would just like to do some off the world exploring and relaxing... Just until Zim feels more like himself to return to his invadering duties." He explains.

"Perfect! I'll help you with your disguises and we'll go!" She tells him.

"Thanks Miyuki-san." Zim smiled.

"You are welcome Zim." She leaves.

Miyuki returned with the new hologram disguises. Zim and her put it on. They decided to head to the a random relaxing and safe planet. Zim didn't even bother to know its name or care. They landed and they get out. They look just like the other aliens that inhabited this world. Zim followed Miyuki around as they eat some of their food, buy a few things and just explore the beautiful planets wilderness together.

Zim wish he could remember what happened to him, "Tallest Miyuki do you remember what planet Zim's mission was on?" He asked her.

"Yes... it was... well I don't know. It was a place I would never go to. You know how it is. We were just there to destroy something and get out quickly." She explains.

"I think something happened to Zim there. Zim can't remember though..." he explained.

"Well you did lose your partner. So perhaps it was far more dangerous than what we originally thought. Don't worry to much about it. Just make sure you get your pak checked out when we return home." Miyuki assured him.

"Okay." Zim nodded.

They sat at a crystal like tree. Everything on this planet was crystalized and beautiful. They are eating rock candy. Zim looks into the dark purple skies with grey cloud and a blue sun. He just tried to relax and just let himself enjoy this moment. As he should be happy to hang out with a tallests and eat rock candy. He didn't feel happy though. He only felt like he lost so much... Zim started crying.

"Zim I'm sorry...." Miyuki said.

"I... I... just miss him. He was the best at killing things Miyuki-san." He wiped the tears from his eyes.

She hugged Zim, "I know... I know." She wanted to comfort him so badly and yet wasn't sure how.

"Would it make you feel better if we blow that planet up for taking him away from us?" She asked, "I'll let you fire the cannon." She offered.
