Summary:

A story where instead of Dib and Zim spending their lives together, forgiving each other and all that. Zim and Dib go to live their separate lives. Only the universe knows if they will reunite again.
————————————————-

The universe knows the story. Of the cruel alien and his human pet. The alien has made the human famous in space as the butt of all their jokes. Though the alien himself is equally infamous and dangerous, yet the Irken Empire laugh at the poor pathetic creature.

Well no one is laughing anymore at either of them now...

This is the story of how two laughing stocks became the universe's mostly deadliest individuals...

The trip to Irk was not one Zim had an easy time convincing himself he needed to take, but... he did it.

With the bounty over his head from his new tallest and the hunters after Zim, he knew his time on earth was limited. As much as he'd love to stay and watch Dib get in tangled in all of that drama. Zim wanted to talk his new tallest out of this ordeal as he still believed in himself and his innocence.

Besides... Dib is becoming a problem. He not only took out Zim's galaxy ship destroyers that were to kill the bounty hunters on sight upon entering the Milky Way, but Zim knows for a fact Dib saw the transmission between him and Tallest Ammar.

Of course neither can bother to confront the other about it. They hate each other even more these days. It's more like if they don't hate each other than they will have to deal with their true feelings and neither wants to do that.

Zim was throwing stuff into the voot, when he heard the door creek open and the slight barely audible noise of the trap failing to trigger properly. Zim really needs to fix that.

Than scent of the smelly human hit Zim making him want to gag as it's just too strong for his tastes. Zim spun around and glared coldly as Dib, who's trying to wear a forced smile and keep some weird happy upbeat attitude.

"Hey Zim! I dropped by to see if you wanted to go to school!" Dib played it cool pretending everything was perfectly fine.

"No you didn't." Zim thinks, but didn't voice this.

"Hi!!! Mary!" Gir waved from the voot nearly falling out and Zim resisted rolling his eyes.

"So what you up to?" Dib replied when Zim forgot to respond to him.

Zim just turned around and crawled into his voot. He doesn't owe the human an explanation or anything. There was a bit of panic in those golden brown eyes of his and Zim felt satisfied by that. He likes having this weird power over Dib to just make him feel things. It didn't matter what the feeling was. Though hurting Dib made Zim feel better about himself as if it was reconfirming everything Zim has been trying to convince himself.

"Im great! Im perfect! Im superior! Im better than everything in this universe!" Zim thinks humming.

"Don't worry your big head Dib beast! Zim will return to destroy you and your planet, but Zim has other obligations to take care of." Zim finally gave Dib his answer.

Clarity crossed his face as he relaxed a bit, but his body held his nervous energy. For a moment it looked like he might suggest he would help than he shook his head and tried to crawl into the voot with Zim. This isn't new to Zim. Dib has become very dependent on him to an annoying degree.

Zim walked over to where Dib was climbing only to put his boot on his face, "And what do you think your doing?" Zim crossed his arms scolding Dib.
