The Trio PT2 (End) (edit)

He pulled away his antennas wiggled in cute protest of the kiss in his wig.

"Keef tastes weird. Not at all like Dib." Zim pointed out and Keef wondered if that's because he's not human.

"Must of been something I ate. Sorry." He apologized.

"Can you take me to see Dib now? Zim want to be with him." Zim begged.

"Yeah okay." Keef nodded to Zeek and limo heads for Dib's house.

"Can we be friends at least?" Keef asked Zim, who looks a bit surprised by that.

"Yeah. Of course. Yes." Zim smiled.

Keef smiled back and held his hand. It felt strange and Zim shifted in his seat. Zim pulled away looking confused as his antennas wiggled in protested. He looks at him with confusion in his eyes.

"Keef... didn't always feel this weird." Zim tells him and he realize Zim must be reacting to the Irken DNA in him that Zeek used to help him heal and recover.

"How did I used to feel?" Keef was a bit curious.

Zim tried to recall, "Keef smelled very fruity and flowery compared to others... Keef was lighter than other humans... more durable... tolerable? Like Zim was okay with touching him more than other humans. Very clingy though." Zim explains and Keef smiled honored that he was at least watching and in a way trying to understand him.

"And now?" Keef asked.

"Zim feels like... it's wrong to kiss Keef or touch Keef... forbidden? Keef has added smell of wet chemical shirt that linger to him... Keef seems more alert? Aware? As if Keef ready for a fight? Keef is more... distant now... like Zim can't read him. Same feeling he get with his uncle... distant expect Zim feel like he planning something." Zim explained.

Keef felt very awe of that, "I guess a lot has him changed for me. I mean I did lose nearly my entire family and nearly died myself." He told him and he flinched.

"Zim sorry." He starts crying.

Absentmindedly Keef take out his handkerchief with the Irken symbol on it to dry his eyes, "Shush. It's okay I forgive you." He assured him.

Zim relaxed seeming at least comfortable with his presence as he takes the handkerchief and wipes his eyes. He sees the symbol on it and freezes. He stares at Keef in horror.

"This is... how did you get this?" Zim asked him and didn't know what to say.

"I'm sorry." Keef was a bit shocked himself.

"You're... like me. An Invader." Zim whispered in horror. "But that's impossible... Zim should be the only one." Zim looks confused as Zeek stopped the limo and Keef felt scared for him.

Keef tried to open the door, but it won't open, "Zim. I wish I could explain to you. Just go. Leave. You didn't see anything!" He beg him trying to protect him from Zeek.

"No! I have to see Dib!" He insisted.

"Zim. Please!" Keef begged.

"Keef please, stop them!" Zim begged him.

"I don't think I can if I want to." Keef pull down his tie to show the collar on his neck and Zim gasped.

Zeek pressed a button and the car doors lock down. The windows get metal shutters on them.

"Alright then... so it's come to this huh?" Zeek sighed and looks at them both.

Zim looks at him and Keef in fear, "You're not really Keef's uncle are you?" Zim realized.

"No Zim. I'm not. I'm Irken like you." He dropped the disguise.

"Please. Don't hurt Zim. He's not going to sell us out. Right Zim?" Keef was scared.

"The last thing I need is Zim telling his little boyfriend about me. Would make things complicated for me." Zeek explained.

"How?!? You don't even have a Pak! Zim doesn't understand!" Zim felt so confused.

"It's a long story. And I'd love to tell you all about it, but I've got to know where your loyalty lies. Are you the tallests pet? Are you Dib Membrane's ally? Or are you just your own thing?" Zeek asked him.

"I... I'm Zim. I'm my own side. Always." Zim was terrified.

"Okay. Then I suppose I can trust you and if you cross me I'll just quickly dispose of you." Zeek shrugged

"How would you going to get rid of me without a pak?" Zim dared him.

Zim reunited with Dib all is good. Except at school buck of water mean trick causes Keef to protect Zim from it and making his collar glitch out. Keef instinctively turns into giant moth monster and Dib and Zim have to save Keef.

"I hope we can still be friends Dib." Keef softly asked him.

"Of course we can! Friends forever!" Dib smiled back at him.

Keef was relieved to hear that.

"We are how to say the three amigos!" Zim hugged both of them smiling.

"Haha yes!" Keef felt happy.

"Yeah!" Dib smiled.

Though Keef might not of ever had his love for Zim returned as he wanted he gained two of the best friends he could ever ask for and a weird creepy, but nice uncle.

Keef was happy with his life and he learned with the help of Zeek, how to control his moth like powers.

Keef, Zim and Dib are staring at a clif about the ocean. He turn into a moth for them both.

"You guys ready?" He asked them.

"Let's go!" Zim eagerly pulled Dib on top of Keef.

"Just don't go fast and crazy this time." Dib begged.

"I won't." Keef chuckled.

"Go!" Zim laughed happily.

Keef take off slowly and slowly fly into the sunset with his friends over the ocean. Dib laughed as he's enjoying himself and Zim laughed at the ocean.

"Haha! Take this stupid earth water! Look at Zim! Zim is above you literally now!" Zim laughed.

Keef laughed with them as he enjoyed the peaceful and relaxing flight with his best friends.
