Yoongi woke up early and was leaving before I got out of bed.
Yoongi: (Whispering) Babe, I gotta run. I have no idea how late I'll be.
Jimin: Love you. Have fun! I look forward to hearing about it later.
He kissed my lips briefly and then left. I laid in bed for another 30 minutes before finally getting up. I didn't have anything that I had to do, but felt the need to go to the studio again. Plus I should work more on class assignments.
I looked at my phone and saw a text from Namjoon.
NJ: Can you go ring shopping today?
"Oh yeah," I thought to myself.
Jimin: Sure. What time?
NJ: How about 1pm? I'll buy you lunch.
Jimin: You don't have to do that. But yes, 1 works.
NJ: A man's gotta eat, right? I'll come get you.
Jimin: I'll be at school, so pick me up there.
NJ: Ok, see ya.
I got up and was making coffee when my phone buzzed again. I looked down and saw that it was Hobi. He wanted to FaceTime, so I accepted.

Jimin: I just woke up. I haven't even had coffee yet.
Hobi: Ok, ok. Defensive much?
Jimin: Wha?! You're the one criticizing how I look.
Hobi: Swollen or not, you're still beautiful. Don't take it wrong.
Jimin: (Pouring coffee) What's up, Hyung?
Hobi: Nothing. I just felt like talking.
Jimin: Mhm (taking a sip) That's not your usual MO. Is everything ok?
Hobi: Yeah, everything is fine and dandy.
Jimin: You sure?
Hobi: Can't I just call to talk?
Jimin: Of course you can. You've just never done it before.
Hobi: That's not true...Is it?
I shrugged my shoulders at him while taking another sip of coffee. I was starting to feel a little more human now.
Jimin: How's dance? Your show must be coming up soon.
Hobi: It's good. Though half the guys are mad at me for messing around with Michel. And of course he's not happy with me for moving on.
Jimin: I guess you should come with a warning label.
Hobi: At least Tae knew what I was about.
I must've winced a little at the mention of Tae's name.
Hobi: What? Have you heard from him?
Jimin: Not for over a week. I guess I ought to text him. Have you heard from him?
Hobi: He sent me a picture of himself at the red light district in Amsterdam.
Jimin: What?! Are you serious.
Hobi: He's different from when we were in school.
Jimin: Tell me about it. He's different from two months ago.
Hobi: While I take responsibility for my flirtiness, he was the one that instigated us getting together.
Jimin: I don't need to hear the gory details.
Hobi: He used me for sex!
Jimin: Seriously, Hyung. I don't want to hear this.
Hobi: Ok, ok. But your friend has changed.
Jimin: It seems so. (Hesitantly) He didn't hurt you, did he?
Hobi: What?! No, I'm just missing his big d...
Jimin: Hyung!
Hobi: I'm joking, sort of. No, I'm just missing everyone. And missing Seoul.
Jimin: Getting tired of Paris?
Hobi: Maybe. I don't know that I'd want to stay after our show is over.
Jimin: When does that close?
Hobi: It goes for 8 weeks.
Jimin: So you might be back before Christmas?
Hobi: Maybe so. How is grad school going?
Jimin: I taught my first classes yesterday. I think it will be good.
Hobi: And Yoongi? What's Not so Little Meow Meow up to?
Jimin: (Smiling) He got an internship at Big Hit.
Hobi: No way (eyes getting big)! Good for him.
Jimin: He's there now. They're recording an Idol group.
Hobi: Ooh, which one?
Jimin: Tomorrow x Together
Hobi: Impressive
Jimin: I gotta get running. I need to do some work this morning before going shopping with Tae's brother.
Hobi: Shopping? For what?
Jimin: He wants help picking out an engagement ring.
Hobi: That sounds up your alley. Who's he proposing to?
Jimin: Yoongi's brother, Jin.
Hobi: For real? You guys are going to be one big happy family.
He looked a little sad when he said that. I wish I could give him a hug.
Jimin: Are you sure you're ok?
Hobi: I'm fine. But thanks for worrying about me, Chim. I'll let you go. But call me sometime when Yoongi's around. I'd love to see both of you.
Jimin: Will do, Hyung. Take care of yourself.
Hobi: You know it.
I sighed when he hung up. It's unlike Hobi to be sentimental. It's like he and Tae have switched personalities. Well, hopefully not quite that extreme.
I finished my coffee and got ready to go to the studio. I made some toast and ate it as I walked out the door. I first went to the office to take some notes for next week's classes. I made lists online so that I could email the students dance resources. They were mainly video links on YouTube of dance performances. I included a link to my senior group performance. I reminisced some as I rewatched it. Hobi and I shared lead in the performance. It made me think again about my conversation with him. I hope he's all right.
After I finished sending out the emails, I walked over to the nearby dance studio. Time to get into shape ...
