Part 70 - First Impressions

(The following Monday)

Jimin's POV:

I was midway through my first class when I got a text message.

Hobi: I'm lost on campus. Where's the class?

Jimin: Everyone, keep practicing. I need to step out for a sec. (Calling Hobi) Where are you? You were supposed to be here nearly an hour ago!

Hobi: Sorry, I woke up late and then got turned around on campus.

Jimin: This class is almost over. Just meet me at the studio.

Hobi: Don't be upset with me, Jiminie.

Jimin: I've got to finish class. See ya in a few.

I hung up on him and went back inside. One of the teams was doing really well, but most of them didn't seem like they practiced at all.

Jimin: Ok, that's it for today. Keep practicing your routines. Performances for nearly half your grade will take place next week.

I heard some grumbling as a few of the students left. I went to change into dance clothes and then headed to the studio. Hobi was there running through some routines.

Jimin: Hyung! Would you teach me that move?

Hobi: Jiminie!

He ran up to me, picked me up, and spun me around.

Hobi: Of course I'll show you.

Jimin: You're in a good mood.

Hobi: I spent the weekend with Tae having nonstop ...

Jimin: Hyung, I don't want to hear about you and Tae having sex.

Hobi: Why not?

Jimin: He's my best friend, and you're my ex. It's still weird.

Hobi: You said you were ok with it.

Jimin: Yes, but that doesn't mean I want to hear the details.

Hobi: Ok, ok. Let me show you this move.

The two of us practiced dancing for awhile. I was having so much fun, I almost lost track of the time.

Jimin: Crap, we need to go to class!

Hobi: Can't we change first?

Jimin: No time. Come on.

We got to the classroom and Jungkook was already there. He looked at me and smiled. Then he saw Hobi and his eyes grew big.

Jungkook: You?!

Hobi: And you. Hello, handsome.

Jimin: Hobi-hyung, not in the classroom.

Hobi: Sorry, Chim. Jungkook, I presume. Nice to meet you.

Jungkook: Who are you?!

Jimin: Jungkook, this is Hoseok. My ex. I'm sure I've mentioned him before. He's going to be co-teaching with me the rest of the semester.

Jungkook's mouth dropped open, but before either of us could say anything else, more students arrived. Hobi and I split the room into two to observe the four teams practicing. The team that JK was on ended up on Hobi's side. Everything was going well until I heard Jungkook and Hobi arguing.

Jimin: (Running over to that side) What's going on?

Hobi: I was trying to suggest some improvements and ...

Jungkook: Everything was fine until he started interrupting.

I looked between the two of them and JK's team members who were all clearly uncomfortable.
