Part 66 - Besties

(The next day)

Yoongi's POV:

The next morning, I got up and made Jimin breakfast in bed. He was still asleep when I came back in with a tray full of food and coffee. So I set it on the nightstand and kissed his forehead. He groaned and squinted at me.

Yoongi: I brought you some more aspirin plus breakfast.

He sat up and smiled at me, downed the aspirin and the glass of water.

Jimin: Thanks, Baby. Have I told you how amazing you are lately?

Yoongi: Last night you said you like me.

Jimin: It's true. I do like you. And a lot more.

Yoongi: And I am in love with you and happy to have a morning together.

Jimin: Mhm...What time is the party? And do we need to bring anything?

Yoongi: We still have some wine from Italy. I figured we can bring them a bottle.

Jimin: Good idea.

Yoongi: Here (handing him a plate of food), eat something.

Jimin: Only if you join me.

Yoongi: Of course. So tell me more about last night.

Jimin: Oh, it was lots of fun. We ate samyeopsal and apparently I drank too much soju.

Yoongi: And that was before the dance club?

Jimin: Yup. I really thought the three hours or so of dancing would have sobered me up.

Yoongi: Especially the way you dance.

Jimin: But I think people kept buying me drinks.

Yoongi: Which people?

Jimin: Strangers who kept trying to dance with us. I feel like I turned most of the drinks away, but I guess I had a few of them.

Yoongi: I'm glad Tae helped you get home safely.

Jimin: Actually, it was JK who helped me up the stairs.

Yoongi: Oh, so he didn't get any alone time with Tae?

Jimin: I don't remember. I'll have to ask Tae this afternoon.

We finished breakfast and lounged around in bed a bit longer.

Jimin: I'm feeling so much better, thanks!

Yoongi: I'm glad. Is your offer from last night still good this morning?

Jimin: What was that?

I wiggled my eyebrows at him.

Jimin: Oh that. Yes, please!

(Later that afternoon)

We arrived at Eomma's house a little before the party was supposed to start.

Yoongi: (Explaining to Jimin) I want to see if they need help getting things ready.

Jimin: You're a good son.

As soon as we entered the house, Eomma grabbed me and got me to help her in the kitchen. Halmeoni grabbed Jimin and put him to work on decorations. An hour later, Joon's family showed up bringing tons of food and beverages. That combined with what Eomma put together made me wonder how many people were coming. But it turned out to just be our two families plus Jimin's family.

Jin was so happy and made certain to show his engagement ring to everyone at the party. The way Joon smiled at Jin as he showed off the ring brought his dimples out. The party had been going on for nearly an hour and everyone was there except for Taehyung.
