Part 64 - Just a Phase

(The next day)

Jimin's POV:

It was a nice, lazy Sunday sleeping in with Yoongi. Well, it wasn't all sleep, but it was nice just lounging in each other's arms after periods of being intimate. While drying off from our shower together, my stomach rumbled.

Yoongi: Want me to make pancakes?

Jimin: Yes, please! And coffee!

Yoongi: Of course.

My boyfriend is so amazing. Not only can he tune my body like a fine clock, but then he takes care of me afterwards by bathing and feeding me. I am so lucky.

I sat down at the kitchen counter table and watched him make pancakes. He brought me a cup of coffee, leaned in and gave me a kiss.

Yoongi: I needed that so bad.

Jimin: Me too!

Yoongi: You're always amazing, but damn! I think the dancing has made you even more flexible, which I wouldn't have thought possible.

I smiled at him and felt my cheeks heating up.

Jimin: It's all for you, babe!

Yoongi: How did I get so lucky?

Jimin: Right place at the right time (smirking).

He brought me over a stack of pancakes and some for himself as well.

Yoongi: Is that all it was?

Jimin: No. I was meant to find you amongst the tulips. Even if I hadn't found you there, I would have met you here.

Yoongi: You think so?

Jimin: Definitely!

We enjoyed our breakfast and talked more about the past week. I told him that Jungkook was going to ask Yeonjun if he'd come do a demonstration for our class.

Yoongi: He's a really nice young man.

Jimin: You talk like he could be your grandson. We can't be that much older than him.

Yoongi: I think he's still in high school or maybe barely out of it.

Jimin: Really? I guess we are a few years older. Is he nice?

Yoongi: Oh yeah, they're all very nice kids.

Jimin: How's IU?

Yoongi: She's great. Everyone has been super. I'm going to see if I can bring you in to visit and meet people.

Jimin: Do you think that would be allowed?

Yoongi: Probably. But maybe after I have a few weeks under the belt.

Jimin: Makes sense. Any word from Jin lately?

Yoongi: Not since we saw them. Why?

Jimin: I was just wondering if Joon popped the question yet.

Yoongi: Oh, that's right. You showed me the photo of the ring. Good choice! I'm sure he hasn't done it yet, because Jin would call Eomma right away and she would then call me.

Jimin: That's true.

After breakfast I washed dishes, and Yoongi got his laptop and started working on some beats.

Jimin: I'm going to call Tae. I'll go in the bedroom so I don't disturb you.

Yoongi: Thanks, Babe.

Jimin: Thank you for breakfast. And the other treats (giggling).
