I wanted to keep kissing Jimin, but all of a sudden he started crying.
Yoongi: Please don't cry. I love you so much, Jimin, don't be sad.
Jimin: (Still crying) You were my cat for over 2 months and I never figured it out. I am an idiot. How can you love me?
I wrapped my arms around him and kissed his face several times.
Yoongi: How were you supposed to figure that out? I was a cat. My family turned me into a cat!
Jimin: I should've known. You must hate me for not knowing.
Yoongi: Jimin, I could never hate you. I love you with all of my heart. You are my soulmate.
He sniffled and looked at me, tears still coursing down his cheeks. I wiped the tears from his face.
Jimin: Soulmate?
Yoongi: Yes. I knew it when I first saw you in that tulip field.
Jimin: Really?
Yoongi: Yes, really. I knew you were the one because to me you radiated. I mean literally, I could see your glow even when I couldn't see you.
He smiled.
Jimin: That's why you wouldn't leave me alone. And you stayed with me that whole time.
Yoongi: It was you. It was always you. I love you so much.
I pulled him into an embrace and held him for several minutes.
Yoongi: Come on, let's go back to the tent. You're exhausted.
He nodded and we walked back to the campground. I propped him up on my shoulder, arm wrapped around his waist.
Jimin: But I want to hear everything from your perspective.
Yoongi: You will. We have all the time in the world. Now that you've found me, I'm never letting you go.
He giggled shyly and I kissed his head that was resting on my shoulder. When we got to the tent, we propped the flaps open so we could feel a nice breeze while we laid down. I wrapped him in my arms and started telling him about what happened and the time before I found him.
Jimin: (Sleepily) So you just woke up a cat one day?
Yoongi: Yes. It was very disorienting.
Jimin: I'll bet. And your Halmeoni is the one that cursed you?
Yoongi: I think so. Maybe Eomma too. She at least knew about it.
We talked for a few more minutes before he fell asleep in my arms. I watched him sleep for about 10 minutes before falling asleep myself.
(Three hours later)
My arm had gone numb and I was trying to move my fingers when Jimin opened his eyes. He smiled at me.
Jimin: It wasn't a dream?
Yoongi: No. I'm really here.
I kissed his cheek.
Yoongi: Do you feel better after getting some sleep?
Jimin: Yes. But now I'm hungry.
Yoongi: Me too! What do we have?
Jimin: (Smirking) We've got plenty of canned tuna.
Yoongi: I think I'm going to pass on that for awhile.
He stuck out his bottom lip and pouted.

Jimin: Was I a terrible cat owner?
Yoongi: No, not at all. Cat me could have eaten tuna every meal. Human me wants something else.
Jimin: Well, I have a few packs of ramen. And I picked up some bread and cheese. And a bottle of wine.
Yoongi: Yes!
I hugged him tightly and he hugged me back.
Jimin: You're really not upset with me?
Yoongi: Not at all.
I caressed his face and he blushed.
Yoongi: You are so beautiful and so kind.
Jimin: You're beautiful. You know how much I've been obsessing over finding you?
Yoongi: I know.
Jimin: I dreamt about you so often.
Yoongi: Oh, I know.
He looked at me and turned bright red.
Jimin: I guess you must've woken up during some of those dreams. I'm gonna go kill myself now.
Yoongi: Don't be embarrassed. It was sweet how much you thought of me. And if I hadn't been a cat, I probably would have gotten aroused myself.
Now he was burying his head in his hands.
Jimin: Oh god. Yes, I'm going to die.
Yoongi: At least now you know that you don't have to hide anything from me.
He was still hiding his face so I pulled his hands away.
Yoongi: Look at me.
Jimin: I can't.
Yoongi: You can. Don't feel embarrassed. I don't feel embarrassed about cleaning myself while on top of you. And honestly, that's kind of horrifying now that I think about it.
He looked at me and we both started laughing to the point of crying. After a couple of minutes he reached out and held my hand.
Jimin: Thank you for being my companion. I don't know what I would have done without you.
Yoongi: And we're not done traveling.
Jimin: True. We'll have to figure out our plans. We need another bike.
Yoongi: Or we can just take the train.
Jimin: That's true. Maybe I can give Tae the bike. They'll be here tomorrow.
Yoongi: Oh right. And that brother of mine.
Jimin: Don't be mad at him, he didn't curse you.
Yoongi: But he could have told you about it.
Jimin: Well, that's true.
Yoongi: I think I want to get even.
Jimin: Uh oh. Nothing too bad, right?
Yoongi: I've got an idea. And I need your help. How are your acting skills?
Jimin: Umm...ok I guess?
Yoongi: Good, we're going to have some fun with my brother tomorrow.
He laughed and then told me his plan. We made some dinner and spent the rest of the evening cuddling in front of the campfire.
