Part 81 - Ring Shopping

(A few weeks later)

Yoongi's POV:

Since I ran into Hobi at Jungkook's the other week or so, I wanted to get his help at the studio. Unfortunately it didn't work out for him to come during spring break.  I could definitely use his assistance on a few things, so I gave him a call one afternoon.

Hobi: Hey, cutie. What's up?

Yoongi: Do you remember when you offered to help me pick out a ring for Jimin?

Hobi: Oh my god, oh my god! Are you asking him to marry you?

Yoongi: I have to wait until after Jin's married, but that's just a month away. Are you still willing to help?

Hobi: Of course!

Yoongi: We can tell Jimin that you're helping me at the studio. Which isn't a lie, since I could use your help on something. Then we can go shopping afterwards.

Hobi: Sounds like fun. I love visiting the studio. It's actually inspired me to write a song.

Yoongi: Really? Cool, you can play me what you've got. Can you come over tomorrow?

Hobi: Sure. My last class is at noon. So I can come after lunch.

Yoongi: Just meet me here and we can go to the cafeteria again.

Hobi: I was hoping you would say that. See you tomorrow!

The next day, I was at Big Hit working after my one class that morning. I have a pretty light class load, as my advisor gives me credit for working in the studio. Besides, I've been concentrating pretty heavily on my mixtape since I want to get a demo done by the end of this month. I was working on one of my tracks when there was a knock on my door.

Hobi: Hey Yoongs!

Yoongi: What time is it?

Hobi: 1pm - have you been working this whole time?

Yoongi: Since I got here. I lost track of time.

My stomach growled and we both laughed.

Yoongi: I guess it's time to eat.

We wandered to the cafeteria and grabbed some food. Today's lunch was bibim-naengmyeon and kimbap.

Hobi: (Slurping up some buckwheat noodles) I should come here more often. The food here is so good.

Yoongi: How are things going with your classes?

Hobi: Intro modern dance was much easier when Jimin was helping. But our street dance class is lots of fun.

Just then Yeonjun walked by and overhead.

Yeonjun: Street dance? Jungkook told me he was learning street dance. We should get you all in here for our next music video.

Hobi: That would be awesome. It was so much fun last time!

Yeonjun: I'll message Kook-ah with the info.

Hobi: Sounds good.

Yoongi: You dyed your hair?

Yeonjun: Yeah, I decided to go pink for Valentine's Day and kept it.

Hobi: It looks amazing.

Yoongi: I like it, looks good on you.

Yeonjun: Thanks. It's fun to change things up.

Yoongi: Definitely.

Yeonjun: See you, Hyungs.

Hobi: I should hang out here more often.
