Part 63 - Date Night

(A week later)

Yoongi's POV:

It has been a hectic week, but I finally had a free evening and so did Jimin. So we were going out on a date. I made reservations at a nice restaurant. I was going for romance tonight. On my way home from the studio, I picked up a bouquet of flowers for him and he gave me a long, passionate kiss when I got home.

Jimin: These are beautiful. Thank you, Love.

Yoongi: You're beautiful.

Jimin: So are you! I am so excited for our date tonight. Though it's tempting to cancel and just stay in.

Yoongi: We'll have time for that later.

Jimin: We'd better. I need a fix.

I kissed him again and it quickly got heated.

Yoongi: I guess we have some time before we go. I need a shower, don't you?

Jimin: Oh yes. I definitely do (smirking).

(90 minutes later)

We were seated at the restaurant and had just ordered a bottle of wine.

Jimin: So how has your week been? I feel like I've barely seen you.

Yoongi: It's been great, but busy. Between classes and studio time, it feels like I don't even have time to think.

Jimin: Poor thing. At least you have tonight off. Do you have to go in tomorrow too?

Yoongi: No, for a change. So I get to sleep in and cuddle you all morning.

Jimin: Mmm, sounds perfect.

Yoongi: How about you, how are classes?

Jimin: I finally feel like I'm getting back in shape. So the dancing is becoming a little easier.

Yoongi: Like riding a bike (smiling).

Jimin: (Laughing) Something like that.

Yoongi: How about the classes you're teaching?

Jimin: They're going ok. It's a little frustrating. I think many of the students taking my class thought it was going to be an easy A.

Yoongi: Make em work for it.

Jimin: You know it.

Yoongi: How about JK?

I admit, I've been wanting to know how much time they're spending together. When I saw them the other weekend fresh from a run, I initially got a little irritated. Well, not really irritated, more jealous that it was him running with Jimin and not me. And I was suspicious of Jungkook's motives. Was it merely a coincidence?

Jimin: He's actually really good at dancing. He swears that he's never taken any dance training, but I think he's not being honest.

Yoongi: Why would he lie about that?

Jimin: I don't know. He told me that he went to performing arts school. So it seems likely that he's had some dance.

Yoongi: Maybe he just means no college classes?

Jimin: Maybe. Anyway, speaking of him ... he knows Yeonjun from TXT.

Yoongi: Really?

Jimin: They went to the same high school.

Yoongi: Interesting.

I thought to myself, "Maybe I'll ask Yeonjun about him some time?"

Jimin: You haven't talked much about TXT. What are they like? And who else have you worked with?

Yoongi: They're all really nice, very talented and respectful.

Jimin: That's good.

Yoongi: This week we've been laying down some beats for IU's upcoming album.

Jimin: That sounds up your alley. Are you able to contribute your own sounds?

Yoongi: Actually, yes. Pdogg pulled one off of my demo tape. So he's got me remixing that. So I'll get production credit for that track if it ends up on the album.

Jimin: No way?! Congrats, Babe! I'm sure this is just the beginning for you.

Yoongi: Have you heard from Taehyung lately?

Jimin: I heard from him briefly last weekend. He was having too much fun in Amsterdam.

Yoongi: Oh yeah? Did he accidentally eat the wrong kind of cake too?

Jimin: (Laughing, but then got serious) Actually, he went to the red light district. On purpose.

Yoongi: Umm ... That's different.

Jimin: I know! He's changed so much since graduation.

Yoongi: Does this have to do with Hobi?

Jimin: No, well maybe a little. I didn't tell you that Hobi called me last week.

Yoongi: Really? He ok?

Jimin: He seemed lonely.

Yoongi: Because of Tae?

Jimin: Kinda

Yoongi: That's weird.

Jimin: I know, right?! He told me that Tae used him for sex.

Yoongi: What?! No way.

Jimin: That's what I said.

Yoongi: Are you still planning to introduce Jungkook to Taehyung?

Jimin: Probably, but now I'm worried. What if this new version of Tae chews him up and spits him out?

Yoongi: Maybe it's just a phase. I think he and Jungkook will get along. I mean they're both into photography and art.

Jimin: Mhm

Yoongi: And they're both gorgeous. But not as gorgeous as my boyfriend.

Jimin: (Smiling) Nor mine.

We clinked wine glasses. Just then our food arrived.

(Later that evening)

Jimin's POV:

Jimin: You wait out here, I've got something for you.

Yoongi: (Cocking an eyebrow) Oh really?

Jimin: Mhm. I'll call you in when I'm ready.

While Joon and I were out shopping last weekend, I stopped by a lingerie store. I picked up a couple of new outfits for myself while Joon picked up an outfit for Jin. I need to ask him how that went. Anyway, I was changing into the lingerie when my phone buzzed. I glanced down and saw a text from Tae.

Jimin: Hey, long time no speak with. Where are you?

Taehyung: I'm in Stockholm. I just got here today after spending a few days in Denmark.

Jimin: Nice. Where do you go after that?

Taehyung: Berlin and then Prague. And then home.

Jimin: Yay!

Taehyung: So how are things?

Jimin: Good. Actually, about to be really good. 😏

Taehyung: 🍆

Jimin: Yes. I'm changing into a new outfit as I type. Can I FT tomorrow?

Taehyung: Can I see this outfit on you now? 😈

Jimin: No, perv!

Taehyung: 😜

Jimin: Bye, Taebear.

Yoongi: (From the other room) Are you ready?

Jimin: Sorry, Tae distracted me for a minute.
