Chapter 32.

Amber's POV.

Once I make it to my office I go behind the desk and sit down. I open up a drawer and pull out a notebook. I start to write down all that happened in the interrogation.

One thing I've started doing since taking my role as Luna is making sure I write every major thing that happens down in a notebook. Even if that certain thing has no paperwork to fill out.

I do have some to fill out since I did an official interrogation. Once I'm done writing it down I stand up to grab the paperwork and place it on the table. I then look at the door to see my father looking at me proudly.

" You've grown so much in just a few months. I'm proud of you. " he said.

I smile. " Thank dad. " I said back.

I quickly fill out the paperwork and set it back in the correct drawer. " Ok, now all I have to do is set up the mind link between all the Alpha's and then once that's over we can spend the rest of the day together. " I say.

" Take your time sweetie. We may spend another day just so we can see you. " my father said.

I nod and make a quick mind link to everyone. ' Hello everyone. I have something important I need your help with. " I say.

' Whatever you need Amber. ' Alpha Grace said.

' Ask away.' Says Alpha Lucas.

' What is it?' Asks Alpha Benjamin.

' My pack has been dealing with human werewolf hunters. I just found a spy in my pack and need to know if any of you have seen their leader before. " I said.

' You have a picture of the leader?" Asks Alpha Anthony.

' Yes I do. I just got it during an interrogation of the spy. ' I say as I send the mental image of what he looks like. ' His name is David. I need to know if any of you have had run ins with him before?'

' I haven't seen him. ' says Alpha Grace.

' Neither have I. ' says Alpha Benjamin.

' I have. ' answers Kurt.

My eyes widen. ' How do you know him?' I ask.

I can feel his anger and annoyance through the mind link. ' He was one of the humans that hurt and nearly killed John. ' Kurt said.

My stomach drops and I growl in anger at this. My father sees but doesn't say anything. ' Kurt, are you absolutely positive this is the same guy?' I ask.

' I'm positive. ' an image of him in the woods appeared in my mind and sure enough it's the same guy.

' I need you to tell me what all went down when you talked to him. ' I say.

' He just kept calling us monsters and saying we weren't human either. He seemed disappointed when his friend called off the entire thing. I made him promise never to bother my pack again. I guess he went and found a new pack to bother. I'm sorry. ' says Kurt.

' It's ok. It's not your fault. I will try to handle this without any bloodshed. I just hope he can be reasoned with. ' I say.

' I wouldn't count on it, but I support your decision. ' replied Kurt.

Everyone agreed and Kurt sent me the memory of meeting up with David to give him Jim back. I thanked them all and ended the mind link.

" So, did anyone know him?" Asked my father.

" Yes. Kurt did. " I say. His eyes widened and then it clicked for him. He growled. " It's that same human that attacked John. "

I nodded in response. " I want to end this without any bloodshed but if it comes down to it. I will put him down. " I say.

" You sure you don't want me to do it?" Asks my father.

" As much as I would like to say yes. I have to be a strong Luna for my pack and prove I can protect it. Come, let's start by ushering the elderly into the pack house for protection as well as the kids and anyone who doesn't wish to fight. " I say.

" Good thinking kiddo. " says my dad.

We get to work and start ushering everyone we can into the pack house. We said this was a small emergency that would be handled within a day or two and that they would be protect and not need to worry about anything.

They seemed to relax at that. Now all that's left to do is wait. " Amber, what's going on?" Asks Connor as he walks up to me. I quickly explain and he nods.

" I'll help out anyway I can. " he says.

I smile and kiss him on the cheek. " Thank you. " I say.

He blushed a little but keeps a serious face and nods at me. I giggle and look back out from where I was sitting on the porch. The second anyone finds anything out of place I plan to run there and help. No matter how big or small the issue may be.

" Do you want me to help with healing if it comes to that?" Asks Connor.

I look at him surprised by that. " You can if you want to. It's you decision. I won't order you to." I say.

He seems to think about it for a few minutes before nodding. " I'd like to help. " he said.

" Thank you Connor. " I say.

My parents are inside helping out where they can. They sure weren't expecting this when they came to visit, but I'm glad they're here. Makes me feel better knowing I have more help from people who have been through this before.

We waited a few hours. Connor brought me some food outside. I thanked him and we ate together. After the sun set and it was pitch bock out there. That's when a message was sent to me.

' Luna, a group of humans have just tried to enter the pack ground. Should we intercept?'

" Do so but at a safe distance in case they have guns. ' I say back.

' Yes Luna '

I stand up and look at them. " It's time. " and with that we take off into the woods and shift. Time to get this show on the road.
