Restoring The Blue Eyed Wolf.

Chapter 53.

Amber's POV.

Clayton did a really good job up there. He had the crowd moving and it was clear that Tasha absolutely adored him singing.

The song was a good pick. After this next singer it will be Connor's turn on stage. I can't wait to hear him sing. He needs this more than anyone. A chance to show people he's strong and nothing will keep him down.

A chance to have fun. I look over and see Connor is talking to Clayton. The two had a rough start when we found Connor after he went missing. Connor even threatened to kill Clayton multiple times. They seem to be becoming best friends again, like the bond they shared long before is seeping through the cracks in Connor's mind.

I sometimes wish I had the same powers to heal that Connor has, that way I could use them on him and heal him even faster. I can only hope Connor's powers are healing him faster than a regular wolf would heal.

Actually, now that I think about it. He wouldn't be healing or getting his memories back at all if he wasn't a Blue Eyed Healer. His mind would still be in shambles and he wouldn't remember us at all. I couldn't be more grateful for him being a Blue Eyed Healer than I am right now.

I look over at Connor. " Are you ready to perform?" I ask.

" I guess so. I mean, I'm as ready as I'll ever be. " he said.

" When you're up there, don't focus on the crowd at all. Focus solely on me if you have to or just imagine the person you're singing this song to in your head. This song is a statement of your power now and how much you're getting better right?" I ask.

He nods his head. " It's for Fenris, isn't it?" I ask softly.

He looked at me and nods slowly. " That's ok. You went through a lot with him. You deserve to have your chance to speak out and prove to him that he didn't knock you down for long. You are standing strong. You are brilliant Connor. " I say.

" You always know the right thing to say. " he admits.

I smile softly at him. " Do what makes you happy Connor. I will support you every step of the way." I say.

Connor leans over and rests his forehead against my shoulder. I lift up my left hand to caress the back of his neck comfortingly. He lets out a deep breath and practically sags into my hold, showing me just how much trust he had in me.

I smile and look over at the others. I take in the sight before me. Everyone's enjoying their time here. They are drinking their drinks and eating the nice little treats that have been given to them by the owner.

Tasha was still complimenting Clayton on his singing. I then listen closely to the song that is currently being sung.

" You are my fire, my one desire, believe when I say, I want it that way.

We are two worlds apart, can't reach to your heart. When you say, I want it that way. "

Ah, I want it that way by the Backstreet Boys. It's always such a good song. " Connor picked out a really good song. " said my wolf.

" Yes he did. I can't wait to hear him sing it. I don't think we've ever heard him sing before " I say.

" No we haven't. I bet he has such a lovely deep voice. " said my wolf.

" I bet his voice is of a higher pitch but still deep enough you can tell it's a man singing it. " I say back.

I can feel her excitement for this deep inside me. I haven't moved from my position holding Connor's neck gently and he hasn't seemed to move either. We are just sitting there enjoying each others company.

He could be talking to his inner wolf too for all I know. I hope they've grown closer since all this started. From what he's told me, they've been talking for a long time and only his wolf remembers everything. 

That's why he didn't end up killing Clayton. His wolf must have helped with that. " We inner wolves have many different ways of helping out our other half's. Connor's inner wolf must have been locked away for a time due to the Wolfsbane, but with his supernatural healing abilities he was able to break through easier and tell Connor who he can trust and who he can't. Just like you trust your wolfs instincts to the best of your abilities. It all relies on trust. " said my inner wolf.

That makes sense. Connor could only trust his wolf for the longest time. I wonder what it would have been like if he hadn't had his inner wolf to be there for him. He'd probably still be very closed off and angry at us and everything around him.

I'm very thankful for his inner wolf. I listen closer to see the song is ending and the he'd lady walked up and took the microphone. " Wasn't that a wonderful song? Let's hear it for them folks. " she said.

Everyone clapped and cheered. " Next up we have a very special performance by our Luna's mate. Everyone give Connor song encouragement. " She called out.

Connor took a deep breath and people cheered him on. He lifted himself from the chair and I quickly gave his hand a reassuring squeeze before he leaves and walks up to the stage

He takes the microphone and thanks the owner of the store. He then looks at the crowd. "This song, I am not only going to be singing for me. It's for all of you it there who have faced hard comings and trials in your life and you're still here and are ready to tell those who have wronged you and those who love you that it isn't over yet. You are here and you're still standing. I hope you all enjoy. " said Connor before telling them quietly what song he wanted to sing.

I can't wait for this. Connor deserves the world and these people in this pack have known him since he was little and have seen him grow into the man he is today. I am so proud of him and with that last thought. The music starts and Connor takes his places at the stand to sing his song.

A/N. Hey guys. Hope you enjoyed this chapter. I've got about two or three more chapters until this little singing arch is over with and we will make it back to the plot. As for why I haven't been updated a lot recently. I have just finished writing down the entire new rewrite to the first book, The Blue Eyed Wolf on my computer and I'm currently working with an editor to get it made perfect. I'm working on getting it published and you all I know are going to absolutely adore the rewrite like I do. I'll be posting more often when I have free time. The next chapter will be in Connor's POV.
