old lady

Then she took me to a small boutique near her home
"What is this" I wasn't sure if it'll work
I mean the store is so small and doesn't feel like this is the kind of thing that we need right now for our situation, she dragged me into the store.

"Hi Mrs.Hayden" she wished an old lady who was arranging the costumes in a row
She turned to see us and inhaled in joy
"Hello Eva, how are you sweet girl" she was happy to see Eve

"Good" Eve replied
The old lady took a long good look at me from top to bottom.
"Hi Mrs.Hayden" I forwarded my hand to shake
She shaked it and asked Eve
"Who is this handsome" chuckling a little
"He is my..." Eve dragged her words so I intervened to ease her
I pulled her to me by my waist on my side for which she gasped and looked at me blushed.
That answered the old lady's question she is old enough to understand what was going on between us, she smiled like she understood.

"Mrs.Hayden we are here for a dress" Eve told her
She looked happy to hear that ,I was like 'really?'

"Oh dear girl I'm so glad to hear that" she spoke the same words that were in my head

"Are you getting engaged?!" Our eyes widened on hearing that and We both looked at each other at the same time

"No no Mrs.Hayden, it's just we need to attend a party tomorrow for that I need a dress" Eve explained her

"Oh that's okay" she was a little disappointed on discovering that we are not getting engaged

"Come on I'll show you, will this man be accompanying us?"

"Yeah we're going together" we both said at the same time

"Then I don't think he should be here"

*What* why shouldn't I? Is this woman crazy or what? I'm not going to leave her until I see the dress because

I just can't leave her in her hands and go off!

She stood there and refused to show us around until I left, Eve convinced me to go so with a lots of disappointment but a trust on my Eve I left her in the hands of that old lady.
