Chapter 41; Business & Pleasure 2

*Fedor’s POV*

He glowered at me playfully, “Will you ever be serious about anything?”

“What about you?” Will you ever learn to be unserious about anything?” I grinned knowing that he was torn between being annoyed and being amused.

He played with my hair, I was sugar-high at this point, and we had spent the night talking about nothing and indulging in junk, now we were splayed out on my tiny bed, our legs entwined, ,y head on his chest as he played with my curls. “Will you be okay? Tomorrow, I mean.”

I guessed I knew what he was afraid of, I might have exaggerated my offense at being lower than what is his name but I had no delusions, I was an intern and I was grateful for the opportunity to be part of his crew. “I like being under you.” I smirked at the double meaning, he tapped me in warning and I chuckled, “I like going on sea with the crew, I like that I can see the world a little differently from when I started out, I like knowing that I can see you whenever I want, I love that you are my chief. I have no regrets regarding that if that’s what you are afraid of and I don’t mind receiving orders from you, I find it kind of hot sometimes, even when you scold me for not fixing knots properly, or washing the plates, or pranking the men and I could go on. I don’t think there is anything I do not like about you, even when you drive me to the wall, and say things I do not understand, I like all versions of you.” I meant what I had just said, maybe it was the sugar or the fact that I could feel and smell him everywhere but I loved tonight, as simple as it was, it was comforting and warm. It also helped that he is muscles everywhere, so hard, not the other kind of hard, I meant the arms, ribs kind of hard.

“I don’t understand how your brain works more than half the time, I even understand less why you arewith me but I like you too, all versions of you even the ones that drive me crazy.” He murmured against my hair and hugged me tighter.

“Tsk, no originality.”

“There can only be room for one poetic person, why don’t you handle it?” He teased.

“Fine! The sun is jealous of your rock hard abs, the moon swoons whenever you move, the earth sings when you breathe and the seas part when they hear your voice.” I broke into symphonies.

He laughed so hard he wheezed, “You had that waiting, didn’t you?”

“No, it’s just when I am with you my muse, I am motivated, the words flow like the Nile, no one and I repeat no one can compare to your beautiful smile. I could still go on if you want.” I bit his chest for some reason.

He buried his head in my neck, “Go on, and show me what you’re made of.”

Okay, he thinks he is smooth and can resist my charms; I decided to dial it up. “Your P…” He flipped me until he was on top of me.

“I knew you wouldn’t be able to resist.” He kissed my nose before going in for a deep kiss, then a small one before arranging us in a way that he was the big spoon and I was the little spoon. This was nice; I could not get enough of it. “Sleep, it’s going to be a long day tomorrow.”
