CHAPTER 72- NO NONSENSE

*Fedor’s POV*

Barbara’s clone had come to defend her mother from me and tried to hit me to which I caught the skinny hand and twisted before throwing her back at her mother. I did not care about decorum at this moment, I was livid with anger. Queen had taken position in front of me, I knew she wasn’t here when it all went down so she would not have all the information, her blind faith as she stood in front of me daring everyone to come closer.

“Are you going to let her get away with this? This sorry excuse of a …” Barbara’s face had turned an impossible shade of red as she ranted.

Queen smirked, “I might not know what you did but I am sure you deserved it.”

The lady that had told her to keep quiet earlier at dinner came forward, “She did deserve it but it doesn’t change the fact that a stranger, an outsider laid a hand against someone from this family. Not once, and she cannot get away with it.”

I scoffed, there was not a lot that could get me going and steady in anger, you could throw drinks at me, it was nothing new, spit on me; insult me, insult my parents, it did not mean much to me but man or woman, no one would get away with harassing me sexually and physically regardless of class difference. Heck, even if Chuck had stuck to just words, I would not have reacted but he had taken it too far, that entitlement that came from him not being denied anything. I had met all sort of people, wealth did not always mean class but it also did not mean everyone was the same way but it rubbed me off the wrong way that everyone was willing to stand and watch even if I was an outsider. “Outsider or not, classless or not, woman or not; I will defend myself and you should be ashamed of yourself. All of you!” I screamed the last part out, yeah; I was unstoppable now. “How could any of you think this was okay? To stand and watch someone, anyone get harassed. I do not know who you think you are but I can assure you, you are not who you think you are, you’re probably beneath it.”

“One word more and I will have you thrown out of here.” A man’s voice thundered above mine and I turned back to glare at him, I had no idea who he was but he was about to know who I was.

My hair was all over my face by now and I cared less, “Did you somehow think that by shouting, I would be scared of you? Tsk tsk tsk…” He was affronted from the looks of it and stunned speechless.

Queen held my hand and walked me out slowly out of the hall and before she left, she said to them; “Touch her and you’ll feel my wrath.”

That was all she said until we were in the car, I hadn’t noticed before but my hands were shaking and it would not stop, Queen watched me before she hugged me and patted my back calmly. I did not want to, I did all I could not to but could not stop the tears, I sobbed my heart out as I cried in her arms, she said nothing just kept patting, the vehicle did not move for a while until I got myself together. It had been a long time since I had a good cry. I sniffled and wanted to shrink myself because of how embarrassed I was by everything. Kurt was dragged away and I hadn’t seen him since and when I finally garnered my courage I looked at Queen who had wiped my tears with her handkerchief. She smiled gently at me, “You did last an hour then rained hell on them. I’ll find out what happened and deal with it, don’t think about anything and rest tonight.”
