*Fedor's POV*

I did not know what to make of Childe, "Are you saying I have a choice or are you giving me an illusion of one?" I asked because I knew my value and I was not going to pretend that the organization would choose me over him and since he already offered to leave in the first place, this might be a way to make him stay, I could not very well say that he should leave, that would show how selfish I was and I also did not want to be the reason he leaves. I had no delusion about who or what I was to them so this was a legit question as far as I was concerned.

She did not fall for it, "Just answer the question, an illusion or not; it is your choice. One of you has to leave, that much is certain and while your supervisor should have known better, it was also your choice. You are an adult responsible for your actions, I will break it down, he has more to loose than you do, the organization will not let him go freely even if he decides to leave, his contract would be up soon and due for renewal if he wants to, in four months; he would have the freedom to leave without paying a dime. Your internship would have been over as well so back to the beginning; the choice is yours.

I sighed and was about to reply when Chief cut in, "Whether she leaves or not, I will leave regardless."

"That is a topic for you and the management. This is my purview and please stop interfering, this is what I can do for her; I could give you a recommendation letter to Soldana Cars, they are not as big but it is much quieter there and you can finish your internship in peace. What about that?" Childe's proposition was not bad and I could do with some peace and quiet.

"Ch..." Chief was about to cut in again when I stopped him.

"You are right, there is no reason for all of us to lose; fine I will go."

The door opened dramatically and I was stunned to see Queen in her crispy white suit and her hair perfectly arranged, oh she was a good stalker, "No, you will not."

"Excuse me?" Childe's face hardened and I could tell that they knew each other and they were not fans of the other.

"See, I have gone through the code of conduct and from what I understand, Chief Song is not a regular staff and he is not in a position where he can be promoted or demoted, as a freelanced staff on contract, the rules do not apply to him. Fedor is an intern on similar terms, Chief cannot influence any action in Tokhe and as so there is no conflict of interest, the only way he would have been able to be of any help to her has been revoked since she was moved from his crew. They were not dating when they were crew members, they only started dating recently after he confessed and she accepted. His crew members can bear witness to this; so none of them have to leave." Queen crossed her legs as she dared Childe to argue.

Childe rubbed her head as she answered, "How is this your business?"

"I am a shareholder, whatever happens here is my business."

I swallowed as I watched them glare at each other, Mr.Charles piped in, "Rumors should not be grounds for termination. I am her present supervisor and as so there is no interference with her work because of Chief Song. I can be a character witness, Fedor is a rule follower and not a breaker."

I nearly laughed at that bogus lie but I kept my face as neutral as possible, I and Chief exchanged glances, I had no idea what had happened but I decided to go with it, but Childe was not taking it, "What are you saying? Am I supposed to believe that both of you just started dating and you introduced her to your family? To Jarum of all people."

"I am fast decision maker." Chief answered.

I shrugged, "I am in love, nothing makes sense."

Childe scoffed, "Technically, she is right but the principle itself is flawed, what message am I supposed to send to the rest of the workers? There is a reason why it was forbidden in the first place."
