Beomkai- Senior Prank

March 30th. Beomgyu was eagerly waiting in the hall for Kai to get out of class. The teacher kept rambling about her recent divorce. She was basically holding the kids hostage for her grief. Kai seemed to be the only one who felt sorry for her. The other kids just wanted to leave already. It was the last class of the day. He couldn't really blame them.

Beomgyu's patience was over. He knocked on the door then opened it with a mischievous grin. "Sorry to interrupt Mrs. Lillard, the principal wanted to speak to Kai. Can I borrow him for a moment?"

"But class isn't over!"

A frustrated kid shouted "yes it is you crazy lady! It was over 10 minutes ago!"

The principal walked by to see what was going on. He then looked at his watch and then at Beomgyu. Beomgyu only shrugged.

Kai ran out when the principal personally dismissed his class. "I can't thank you enough for saving me."

"How long was she doing that for?"

"Only the last 20 minutes! Her divorce lawyer called. It went to shit from there."

"Well, my mom should be outside. She said she would drive us to the store but she wouldn't be able to drive us back."

"It's not a long walk. We'll be fine." Kai looked forward to April fool's day almost as much as Christmas. Every year, the two pulled off the most insane pranks. Last year's was going to be hard to top but since it was senior year, this one had to be the best one yet.

When they got to the store, they found their friend stocking shelves. Kai gave him a hug. Beomgyu fist bumped him. "Hey man. We still on for tomorrow?"

Yeonjun stuck his hand out. "We are if I get the money."

"You know, a good friend would do this for free!"

"Good luck finding someone else to do it!"

Beomgyu grumbled as he handed him $50. The only reason Yeonjun agreed to do this was because his face would be covered with makeup. "I can't wait to see this!"

Yeonjun went back to working when his boss rounded the corner. "The supplies you need are at the other end of the store. See you guys later."

Kai cheerily yelled "bye Yeonjun!"

The two ran to the other side of the store. If you asked an adult if it was a good idea to spend all of your part time money job on a prank, you'd get a strict no. If you asked the two best friends? They would say it was worth it. Over $500 was spent in that store that day. The janitor and the other students were in on it. Their teachers and principal were dreading it.

Afterwards, they went to Beomgyu's house to eat and game. Taehyun and Soobin came over after their clubs were done. The four started to put everything together. Kai beamed "this was my best idea yet! Yeonjun is going to be so funny."

Soobin joked "I bet he will get the police called on him!"

Beomgyu hoped he did as he ripped off a large piece of tape. He was still mad at Yeonjun for switching schools at the start of the year. Apprently public school wasn't good enough to his parents.

Taehyun looked at his phone. "Yeonjun just got off of work. He said he'll meet us there."

"Perfect." Soobin grabbed his keys. The four carefully loaded the supplies into the back of his mom's minivan. Once they got to the school, the janitor let them in and they got to work.

The prank was pretty simple. Kai and Beomgyu were going to put all of the small things in the principal's office into piñatas. The big things, like his desk, would be moved into the gym. The hardest part about the prank was stringing the piñatas to the gymnasium ceiling. Luckily, the janitor was more than willing to help them out.
