Taehyun looked at his ticket then looked up at the roster of racers on the board. It took what seemed like a lifetime, to find his ex again. The photos of each driver were shown next to their number. Beomgyu was number 15. Fitting, considering that's how many people they killed together. "Yeah. He's here. Changed his named to Logan Choi but he's definitely here." The scar that he inflicted on his cheek, was visible in the photo. That wouldn't be the only scar if he decided to let him live.

Kai tilted his head as he looked at the photo of "Logan". "So this is the guy you dated after we broke out..."

"I couldn't find you remember? Believe me, I wish I had sooner. I love you Huening." Beomgyu was the reason he landed in jail again. His bitch ex sold him out to get a lighter sentence. Kai broke him out prison and they've been inseperable since.

"I love you too. Let's go pay him a visit."

The couple watched the race. Beomgyu sped around the track like lightning. It was thrilling to see him flip another driver over. That killer instinct remained just in a very different way. He placed first in the qualifier to the finals. He stood atop his car and began pandering to the audience. "Thank you! Thank you!" He winked at the camera then blew it a kiss. "See you in the finals Indiana!"

Taehyun left his boyfriend towards the entrance of the tunnel. He wanted Beomgyu to see him. He wanted him to feel the same fear he felt when officers swarmed his hideout. His hand stuck out over the railing. Other drivers hi fived him but he didn't care.

Beomgyu was last to go towards the tunnel. He signed shirts and took selfies. People cheered "Logan! Logan over here!" Beomgyu drank in the energy as he posed for more pictures. His smile dropped when he caught sight of Taehyun. Fear gripped him when his ex started to wave. He ran towards the inside of the complex. He had to get out of there.

Kai took Taehyun's hand and they went around back. He spotted their target leaving quickly in a dark green jacket. His hood was up as he looked around frantically. Kai took a picture of the vehicle he got into. "Think you can stall him?"

"He'll leave as soon as he sees me."

"I have an idea. Be ready to pick me up." Kai left with the tracker tightly in his palm. He walked towards Beomgyu's car with a poster of him. "Sir! Sir!" The headlights turned on. He started to run while waving the poster. "CAN I JUST GET AN AUTOGRAPH?! PLEASE?!"

Beomgyu rolled the window down. He looked around to confirm he was safe. His ex wasn't near. He looked back at that face of innocence and feigned a smile. "I need to leave."

"Oh come on. I'm such a big fan! Just an autograph and I'll leave! Please?"

"Sure..."

While Beomgyu signed the poster, Kai pretended to trip and fall. He placed the tracker on the underside of the car then stood back up. "Thank you so much! Good luck on your next race!" The car sped off. The momentum whipped his hair away from his forehead. He looked at his phone to see the tracker live in action. He then called his boyfriend. "Pick me up. I got him."

Taehyun sped around the parking lot. He quickly drove off when he felt arms around his waist. "Where's he headed?"

"South into the factory district."

"This entire city is a factory district babe!"

"Hold on!" Kai watched the little red dot move along the map. He kept staring, trying to predict his movements. "He's headed towards Louisville! I'll direct you. We need to cut him off before he reaches highway 65."

Taehyun dodged cars and pedestrians as he raced through Indianapolis. The police were on his chase. They yelled for him to stop but that wasn't going to happen unless he was dead. He zipped through a busy intersection. Cars crashed together, temporarily blocking the police from following them. Kai told him to turn right and they should be right behind him. Sure enough, that expensive red car pulled into view. "Got your gun?!"

"I never leave without it." Kai tried to aim but Beomgyu was driving too erratically to get a good shot. His first bullet took out the left light. Not what he was aiming for. If he couldn't shoot a tire, he was going to shoot something that would stop the car. In the distance was a crane holding a bag of bricks. It wasn't very high off of the ground but it was moving upwards. Kai started shooting the top of the bag. It took five buckshots to bring it down.

The motorcycle swerved to the side. They watched that Ferrari crash into the bricks. The front clipped the top of the pile causing the car to spin into a street light. Beomgyu crawled out, heavily bleeding from his head. He was dizzy. His vision struggled to focus. Two blurry sets of black leather boots walked towards him. He was helpless as the couple lifted his body. When he woke up, he was chained to a tin ceiling by his wrists.

Taehyun played with his lighter on the chair across from him. He kept flicking it on and off. "Remember what we used to do to people? Remember how special that 15th kill was?"

"I'm so sorry! I never should've told-" He screamed when the lighter burned under his foot.

"Go on. Finish your sentence."

"I never should've told them where you-"

"GOD STOP TAEHYUN!" The metal chain holding his wrists kept clanging against the ceiling as he twitched. Both of his soles were boiling in the flame.

Taehyun tossed the lighter to the side. "I should be thanking you actually. If it wasn't for your betrayal, I never would've found him."

Kai and Taehyun switched places. He sat down into the small metal chair then waved. "Hi. I'm his boyfriend now. Remember me?"

"You..." Beomgyu hung his head. He should've known Taehyun found another partner. He lifted it and pleaded "please... just let me go. I have a good life now. I've cleaned up my act!"

"I saw how excited you were when you flipped that car over." Kai began playing with his switchblade. He popped the blade in and out of the handle with a sinister grin on his face. "I see why you chose your new career too. The thrill of the chase. The thrill always being on the edge of life and death. That adrenaline rush? There's nothing like it isn't there?"

"No..."

"People actually cheer for you to kill people. Amazing. How many have you killed on the track Beomgyu?"

"Three..."

"And you get paid to do it! Wouldn't you like the chance to live that again? Feel the real rush?"

Beomgyu knew where this was going. He wiggled his wrists hard but the chain wouldn't budge. Taehyun clicked a button. Two of the side walls fell to expose the forest they were in. The sun was setting. Night was going to arrive within the hour. A winter breeze slapped his face. Frost burned into his soles as the chain was lowered to the ground.

Kai unlocked the chain from the ceiling then tossed it to the side. "You have one hour to hide. If we can't find you, we'll let you go. If we do, you're ours. Time is ticking. Run little bear. Run!"

The couple held hands as Taehyun played with his lighter. Their victim could barely walk, let alone run. He whispered "think I went a little overboard? I mean, this will hardly be a challenge."

"I gave him an hour. It just depends on how badly he wants to live."

Taehyun kissed his boyfriend's cheek as they watched his ex continue to struggle. Beomgyu's will to live was strong. His desire to kill him was stronger. In less than an hour, the chase was on.
