Lily's pov

Still walking, I came across a cabin that stood alone at the side of the road. It reminded me of the one that Tyler and I had found when we ran from the walkers after the boat, though I knew it wasn't the same one. Still, I decided to go in and have a look around.

This one was a little bigger than the one from before and there didn't seem to be any walkers around. Maybe if needs be I could rest up here before I keep going. At the least, try and find a few supplies. There was nothing. I searched all the draws and cupboards in both the living room and the kitchen. It had all been cleared out and looted. It was almost like the opposite to the other one.

I was just about to open what I assumed was the bedroom door when there was a sudden crash that came from inside. I immediately jumped back and rested my hand on my knife ready to swing. Then I heard the sound of growling coming from inside. Walkers and it sounded like more than one. I couldn't stay here. I didn't have the strength to take them out. I was exhausted and I knew I had to had to keep going.

I headed out of the cabin, closing the door behind me where I stepped back onto the road and kept walking. Everything was quiet. My knife and gun sat in my belt, ready for me to grab, and the bag and stolen guns over my shoulder.

I still didn't know where I was going. If I'd every see the others again. It wasn't like I could track on the road. There were no foot steps, no broken branches, no leaves and it wasn't like I had any tire tracks to follow. They all looked the same to me. They could've been from anything. Then I started thinking about the town, Woodbury. What if they were following me? What if they were tracking me down right now? They have to have known I took the guns. Why was Merle's name so familiar and why the hell were there severed heads in tanks? It was all a bit creepy and I'm just glad I'm not still there.

As I walked down the road, there were still no walkers. They were probably all hidden in the trees wondering around. It's still hard to imagine that they used to be people. Living, breathing people. Now they're just dead. They eat and they kill. They don't know anything else.

Over the past couple of days I've also noticed it's been getting colder. If we have the same winter as last year, maybe we might stand a chance. I was on my way to my friends house for her birthday party and I got stuck on the highway with all of the snow. Briana was with me and we thought it was some sort of a coincidence because we didn't really want to go. Maybe if it snows this year it might slow the walkers down. Either that or it'll freeze people to death.

After a couple hours, it started to get dark again. I'd been awake for at least over twenty four hours and I was exhausted. I was so tired that I hadn't even noticed I'd spent the whole day on foot, just walking. I needed to find somewhere to stay the night. I couldn't stay out in the open and I couldn't keep going in fear that I was going to keel over.

I wasn't looking where I was going and I ended up walking into a car. "Shit." I mumbled to myself and reached down to my knee to see if I'd cut it. Nothing. I gave it a quick rub and readjusted the guns over my shoulder before looking up.

For a second I froze. There were two cars and a motorcycle in front of me but not just any motorcycle. Daryl's motorcycle. Had I really found them? I looked around straight away and couldn't see anything so I walked up to the tree line. Nothing. These were our vehicles but where were they?

I turned back around and stood by the cars just in case they'd gone somewhere and were coming back. I hope they were coming back. Then I saw Tdog a little ways down the road. He was standing on what looked to be some rocks or ruins. As I looked more closely and saw a dimly lit fire. There they were, everyone was gathered around it. I didn't think it were possible but here I was. I'd found them and it was a sense of relief that passed through me.
