I waited by the gate with Carol whilst Rick, Tdog and Daryl went out and got the rest of the vehicles from outside. They said that they wanted us to be ready with the gates for when they got back to minimise the walker build up, though I didn't see how that'd work but I didn't argue. Either way we did it, we had to get the vehicles inside the prison. We couldn't afford to lose them.

We waited for at the least a couple minutes before we heard the  roaring of the car engines echoing down the road. Almost immediately Carol and I unlocked and opened the gates ready for the others to pull up inside, taking out any walkers that pushed themselves against the fences. I think we must've done this a couple of times to get all of them inside.

Once that was done, we used an old rusty car, that was already inside the prison, to then move the turned over bus out of the way, making a path for our own vehicles. It's a good thing I got the rest I needed when I did because in the heat, working all morning, was definitely hard work.

"Okay, lets get the other car in. We'll park 'em in the west entry of the yard." Rick pointed as he looked around at us all gathered.

"Good, our vehicles camped out there look like a giant vacancy sign." Daryl agreed as he hopped out of one of the cars and shut the door behind him.

"After that, we need to load up these corpses so we can burn 'em." Rick then looked over to the pile we had made before. It's what we'd all been waiting for.

I shook my head a little and wiped my forehead with the back of my hand. "Gonna be a long day."

Everyone gave a slight chuckle as they all looked over towards me. "You should take it easy." Tdog said as the chuckling died down. "Don't want you going down again."

"I'm fine. It's nothing we can't handle." I smiled back placing my hands on my hips. As I did I caught Daryl staring but he quickly looked away as I looked over at him.

"Where's Glenn and Maggie? We could use some help." Carol spoke up, breaking the silence that had now settled.

Now I think about it, I haven't seen them this morning. I don't think they were at breakfast this morning, but I could be wrong. After all, I was focused on the whole Jace, Briana thing.

"Up in the guard tower." Daryl pointed to the tower nearest the gate to the yard, breaking my thought.

"Guard tower? They were just up there last night." Rick said. A hint of sarcasm in his voice.

"Glenn! Maggie!" Daryl yelled.

For a second there was nothing but then the guard tower door slowly opened and Glenn appeared topless and buttoning up his trousers. "Hey, what's up guys?" He yelled nervously.

We all started laughing. "You coming?" Daryl yelled back. Glenn looked confused so Daryl yelled again. "You coming?" At this point it was hard for any of us not to burst out laughing. "Come on, we could use a hand." Even from down here, we could see the redness in his face as we all knew what they were doing.

"Yeah, we'll be right down." He stuttered, retreating back into the tower.

We all turned away still laughing and I even saw a meaningful smile on Daryl's face. It suiting him perfectly. The simplest thing that amuse us.

Tdog then turned to the other car but stopped before he could get near it. "Hey, Rick." He called to us.

We all turned to see what Tdog wanted and the smiling and laughter disappeared from Rick's face. Axel, Oscar and Jace were all walking towards us. This wasn't good.

Before anyone could say anything, Rick started walking towards them, muttering something under his breath. I think it was for us to go with him as he walked towards the prisoners angrily.
