We all watched as the men eyed us. By the look of them they seemed to have prison uniforms on.

Daryl made his way around Hershal, still pointing his crossbow at the men, shielding us all from them. I then carefully moved Hershal's head from my lap where Maggie then held him in his arms.

"Who the hell are you?" Daryl snapped as I slowly picked up Hershal's gun, seeing as mine haf no ammo.

"Who the hell are you?" One of the men snapped back.

"We asked first." I stood up and pointed Hershal's gun towards them.

"He's bleeding out. We gotta go back." Rick called to both Daryl and I as we pointed our weapons at the men. "Come around here. Put pressure on the knee." He ordered Maggie and Glenn. Tdog was still holding the doors.

"Why don't you come on out of there? Slow and steady." I growled, ignoring the commotion going on behind me with Hershal. It worked. One after another the prisoners walked out from behind the bared counter.

"What happened to him?" One of them asked. He looked like a druggie with his tattoos and his sweeped back hair.

"He got bit." Daryl snapped.

I heard the druggie question what Daryl had said under his breath. Before anyone else had the chance to do anything, he reached for the gun that was tucked in his prison uniform.

"Woah, woah, woah. Easy now. Nobody needs to get hurt." I tried speaking slower as he pointed his gun at Rick. Tdog had now also took out his gun and pointed it at the first prisoner.

As this was all happening, Rick was still firing orders at Maggie and Glenn to keep Hershal alive. I had to get what ever supplies they were living on. That was why we were here in the first place. "You have any medical supplies?" I asked as I lowered Hershal's gun and barged into their little room.

"Lily!" I heard Daryl growl. I didn't listen.

"Woah. Where do you think you're going?" Another prisoner asked as the first one followed me with his gun.

I walked in and there were no medical items. Just lots of food. More than I'd ever seen before, which is probably how they'd be able to survive for so long in here. I came back out as the druggie prisoner started speaking again.

"Who the hell are you people, anyway?" He asked as I walked back towards Daryl. The doors startling us all as they started rattling again from the walkers outside.

"Don't look like no rescue team." Another prisoner added. This one had a very neat looking mustache.

I pointed the gun back towards the prisoners. "If a rescue team is what you're waiting for, don't." Rick grunted to them. He didn't take his eyes off of Hershal as Glenn then pushed past and went into their room.

The sound of something being tipped over echoed through the room. Then there was the sound of something being pushed where Glenn then appeared with a long trolley. "Come on, we gotta go." Rick ordered as he helped Maggie with Hershal.

Both Daryl and I stood side by side whilst Rick, Maggie and Glenn layed Hershal on the trolley. Everything happened so fast that I didn't even know what was going on. I was lost in the moment for a couple of seconds. My head feeling as if it was spinning and I could feel myself going dizzy, but I held my ground. I didn't want to show any signs of weakness in front of these convicts.

Tdog then ran to the doors and there was some rattling. "Are you crazy? Don't open that!" Another one of the prisoners joined in.

I spun my head around as the doors swung open and one walker came through. Tdog quickly disposed of it. Time to go.

"Lily! Daryl! Come on!" Rick's voice echoed. Keeping Hershal's gun pointed at the men, I slowly backed out of the room.

All that was left in the cafeteria at this point was the prisoners, all their food and half of a leg with a bite in the calf. Not the great first impression but it wasn't like we were looking to be friendly.

Soon enough we came across the arrows that Glenn had sprayed on the wall and began to follow them. Daryl was besides me and shot a walker that had lunged for me. I hadn't even seen the fucker coming for me so I'm glad he had. "Thanks." I panted as we continued going. That's when I heard voices and a round of footsteps that weren't our own. "Stop! Stop!" I whispered.

As we all stopped, I heard someone mutter something about a flashlight. We were being followed by none other than the prisoners themselves. Then their shadows became visible on the walls. "Go. Go. Go." Rick whispered and began wheeling the trolley down the tunnels again.

We all raced back to our cell block and Daryl unlocked the door that lead into the coomon room. "Open the door! It's Hershal!" I boomed to Carl in the other room as Rick, Glenn, Maggie and Tdog pushed Hershal through the common room.

Screams could be heard from everyone and Tdog shut the gate that Carl had just opened. I quickly reloaded my gun with the ammo that was left on the table and placed down Hershal's on the table behind me. Daryl then threw his keys onto one of the tables and loaded another arrow into his crossbow.

Then we waited. First the druggie prisoner entered. He was followed by the other five men. "Cell block C. Cell four. That's mine, gringo. Let me in." The druggie ordered.

I huffed and so did Daryl. "Today's your lucky day, fellas. You've been pardoned by the State of Georgia. You're free to go." Daryl grumbled.

"What you got going on in there?" The druggie asked. He seemed to be like their leader, though he's still a dick.

"It ain't none of your concern." I snapped back.

"Don't be telling me what's my concern." The leader pulled his gun from his prison garments again and pointed it at me.

Suprisingly, one of the other prisoners stepped forward in my defence. "Chill, man. Dude's leg is messed up. Besides, we're free now. Why are we still in here?" The larer prisoner announced.

"The man's got a point." I agreed.

"Yeah, and I gotta check on my old lady." Another one of the prisoners agreed.

The leader looked at me. "A group of civilians breaking into a prison you got no business being in. Got me thinking there ain't no place for us to go. What about it?" He raised his eyebrows in a flirtatious kind of way. Maybe he was smarter than we first thought.

"Hey, leave her!" Daryl snapped. "Why don't you go find out?" He pointed his crossbow towards the door.

The prisoner with the trimmed mustache stepped forward. "Maybe we'll just be going now."

Then another prisoner who kept himself hidden at the back of the group stepped forward. "I need to get home to my parents. They ain't seen me for twenty years. Neither has my sister." He announced.

"Hey, we ain't leaving." The leader announced again.

I heard the sound of a gun click and Tdog came from under the stairs. "You aren't coming in either." I hadn't even heard him come in.

"Hey, this is my house, my rules. I go where I damn well please." The leader snapped again. This triggered an argument between both of the groups. Us vs them.

"I ain't gonna tell you again!" Daryl stepped forward. "There ain't nothing for you here. Why don't you go back to your own sandbox."

Rick then ran into the room almost knocking me over. "Can everyone relax. There's no need for this." Rick sighed at the arguments.

"How many of you are in there?" The leader nodded towards the door.

I huffed and looked at him. "Too many for you to handle." These men were really starting to piss me off.

"You guys rob a bank or something?" The leader shot a puzzled and confused look between me and Rick. "Why don't you take him to a hospital?" He really had no clue.

Daryl, Tdog, Rick and I all looked at one another, shocked expressions on our faces. These men had no idea what the hell was really going on outside these walls.
