We had our introductions and then Rick told us his plan. It seemed like it could work. Making weapons from the cart. I told Maggie that Beth was still alive and that a black car with a white cross was painted on the back. Briana asked about Lily. If I'd been with her. If she's not here then I don't know where she'd be.
I kept watch through the gaps in the cart. We didn't want anyone seeing what we were doing. There were voices coming from outside then I saw people. "Alright. There's four of 'em pricks coming our way."
Rick looked over and snapped part of the cart from the wall. "You all know what to do. Go for their eyes first, then their throats."
We all crowded by the door and waited. "Put your backs to the walls on either side of the cart now!" One of them yelled from outside.
Non of us moved. The clicking of a lock sounded but it came from above. The hatch at the top of the cart opened and they dropped a small canister down. "Move!" Abraham yelled.
The canister exploaded sending a gas into the cart. Someone came in and tied my hands together and threw me out of the cart. It was hard to see but soon we all blacked out.
The sound of a drill echoed trough my ears as I came round and was pushed against a long metal basin. They tied my legs together so I was kneeling between Rick and Glenn.
Someone stood at the end of the basin with a bloody apron and sharpening some butchers knives. I glanced behind me to see a man with a metal baseball bat practicing his swings.
I watched as the men walked past me over to the blonde man at the end. They swung the bat and knocksd him out where the other sliced his kneck and leant him over the basin to drain.
All I could think was I hope that Lily never came here and this wasn't the fete that she had come to. They'd taken my makeshift weapon so I had nothing to free myself with. Then Gareth came into the room carrying some sort of book.
"Hey guys. What were your shot counts?" He asked.
"Thirty eight." The man with the bat swung at another man.
The man was about to swing his bat at Glenn when Gareth spoke up. "Hey! Your shot count."
"Crap man. I'm sorry. Was my first round up." The man with the knife apologised.
"Once you're done here go back and count the shells. Okay. They won't be gathering them until tomorrow." Gareth wrote something in his book.
"Hey. Let me talk to you." Bob mumbled against the mouth piece.
"Four from A. Four from D." Gareth stated and wrote something else down.
"Hey. Let me talk to you for a minute. Let me talk." Bob tried to speak out again.
Gareth rolled his eyes and crouched down in front of Bob. He pulled the mouth piece from him and stared directly at him. "What!" He spat.
"Don't do this we can fix this." Bob started to say before Gareth interrupted.
