Daryl's pov

I was so focused on keeping my crossbow at Oscars head that I didn't even see her go down.

"Daryl!" Jace called over to me.

"You might want to shut the hell up!" I yelled back unaware that he'd caught Lily and stopped her from smacking her head on the ground.

"Daryl!" Jace called a little louder.

"What the hell'd I just say?" I yelled again.

"Daryl!" Tdog called this time.

I rolled my eyes and looked over at him. I could feel the anger inside me rising as I didn't want to turn my head from the scum bag in front of me. I did anyway and Tdog had his gun pointed down at Axel. He then nodded his head slightly in the direction of Jace. Immediately my blood started to boil as he stood there with her in his arms.

Without any hesitation, I spun on Jace and pointed my crossbow straight at his head. "What the hell'd you do?" I growled. From the corner of my eye I could see Tdog keeping his gun aimed at both Axel and Oscar. I was too focused on Lily and Jace to care.

"I didn't do nothing! She collapsed on me, man. I don't know what happened." He panicked. "She said she didn't feel to good then she went. I swear."

Knowing that sitting here arguing wasn't going to help her, I threw my crossbow over my shoulder and moved the hair from her fae. Thank god. She was still breathing. I then took her in my arms and sat her down next to the washing machines, crouching down next to her whilst Tdog held the other three at gun point.

"Lily...Lily can you hear me." I sighed shaking her shoulders a little, moving some more hair that had fallen onto her beautiful face. "Please...I...need you." I whispered so that no one else could hear, except for her.

After getting no response, I then examined her body for and bites or scratches. Nothing. Thank god. I don't think I'd be able to cope if I lost her. After the things I said to her when she finished things between us, all I wanted to do was be able to talk to her, but I couldn't. Even after what happened to her with Norman, I didn't know what to say. It pained me that I'd hurt her and came to regret everything I'd said that night. I was sorry for everything. If only I could tell that her.

"We need to get her back to Carol or Briana. Find out what's wrong with her!" I called over to Tdog.

He opened his mouth to say something as Rick stormed back into the room. He then pointed his gun straight at Oscar. "We didn't have nothing to do with that." Oscar raised his hands.

Rick snarled and in his rage, hadn't noticed me crouching in front of Lily. "You didn't know? You knew. Daryl lets end this now." He spun and pointed his gun towards Axel. I didn't reply, I just turned back to Lily and I shook her again. She didn't wake up.

It wasn't until I glanced round to see what was happening that I saw Jace try and get Rick's attention but it didn't work. Rick had all of his attention pointed towards both Axel and Oscar. "Sir, please, please, listen to me! It was them that was bad. It wasn't us." Axel started weeping.

"Sir." Jace called towards Rick.

Rick ignored him and continued to point his gun at Axel. "Oh, that's convenient." Rick yelled.

"You saw what he did to Tiny. He was my friend. Please we ain't like that. I like my pharmaceuticals, but I'm no killer. Oscar here, he's a B an E, and he ain't very good at it neither. We ain't the violent kind, they were! Please, I swear to god! I wanna live!" Axel cried.

I turned back to Lily for a second and her eyes fluttered. "Lily?" I spoke softly. Still nothing.

Rick then spun around and pointed his gun towards Ocscar. "What about you?" Rick snapped.

Jace called out again and stood with his arms crossed. Rick was still ignoring him. It was almost as if he'd forgotten about him but Axel and Oscar weren't helping. "I ain't never pleaded for my life. And I ain't about to start now. So you do what you gotta do." Oscar spoke more carmly than Axel. He wasn't in a blubbering mess.

Rick turned to Jace and pointed his gun. "What about you?" Rick spat.

"Now that I have your attention." He joked and unfolded his arms. "If you care to listen to what I have to say, I'd like to tell you that I was the one that stopped your friend from smashing her head on the ground. I mean, but your obviously too preoccupied over us that you haven't even noticed her on the ground." Jace yelled. I must admit I like his bravery. Man's got balls to stand up to Rick like that and not get a bullet straight through his skull.

Rick snarled and put his gun to Jace's head. He didn't so much as flinch. "What's that supposed to mean?" Rick's face was filled with anger and I'd had enough.

I placed the back of my hand on her forehead. She doesn't have a temperature. "Rick! We need to go back!" I yelled without taking my eyes from her face.

"What the hell happened!" Rick calmed down as he saw Lily but I could still hear the angry tone in his voice.

"I caught her as she passed out. I don't know what happened." Jace replied. He was also a lot calmer now.

"It's true." Tdog nodded. "He didn't touch her."

I looked at her and her eyes fluttered again. "Lily?" I asked hopefully. Nothing.

"Heres what weel do." Rixk started as he placed the baxk of his hand on her forehead. "T and k will keep going and get thwse three over to theor cell block. Daryl, you take Lily back to Beiana and carol. Theres no use her keep going like this." He eyes flittered agaon. It was like she was fighting with her own body just to be ablw to open her eyes and wake up.

As much as I wanted to get her back, I wasn't sure leaving Tdog and Rick alone with these prisoners, after what'd just happened, was a good idea. "You sure you're gonna be alri-" I stopped as Lily's sudden voice caught me odf guard.

"Stick...with the...deal." Lily gasped. Her eyes were still slightly closed but at last. She was starting to come round.

"Lily, what happened?" Rick asked as her eyes slowly opened.
