Once we'd finished tending to Mr. Jacobson, the three of us made our way back into the cell block to complete Hershal's rounds. That was until one of the little girls came running over to me. I think her name was Molly.

"Hey." I smiled down to her.

She smiled back and coughed before she spoke. "Briana wants to talk to you."

"Thank you." I thanked her and took her back to her cell.

In the back of my mind I should've seen this coming. If Carol had told her about what had happened before she and Rick left, I should've known she'd be marching down here to talk to me. I knew that if she saw me, there'd be no stopping her from barging her way in here.

As I made my way back from Molly's cell, both Hershal and Glenn were watching me with curious eyes, and I think they both knew what I was thinking. Briana needed to stay out there. Especially because so many if our people were either sick or out on runs.

Once I finally reached them, I sighed as I looked over to the doorway, which lead into the visiting room. "I can't." I looked at Herhsal. "If I go in there, there'll be no stopping her from coming in here. You know what she's like."

"Yes we do." Hershal nodded. "I'll talk to her."

"Thank you." I smiled. "I'll wait outside."

Herhsl nodded and the both of us made our way over to the room, whilst Glenn left us to go and check on Sasha. Once there, then slid down the wall so that I was sitting on the floor as Hershal stepped inside to talk to her.

It wasn't long before I found myself getting lost in thought.

I thought about how my dad must've felt when he had this and about if he knew what was happening when whoever it was did what they did and killed him. I thought about the run. About whether Daryl and the others were still alive and if they were on their way back. And I thought about everyone we've lost. Lori, Dale, Tdog, Merle, Axel, Oscar, Andrea and everybody else, knowing in my mind that I found it harder to picture their faces as each day passes. Knowing that I will still remember them even if I can't see them.

I snapped from my thought as I heard Hershal coming back and I quickly wiped my eyes with the back of my hand and stood up.

"Thank you for stopping her." I said as he stepped out of the room.

"We need someone out there taking care of things. To help Maggie and Jace." Hershal nodded.

"If she saw me, even after my dad and the..." I couldn't say it. "We couldn't keep her out. I know you didn't want to lie to her."

"I wasn't lying. Look at you, you're resting." Hershal smiled. I shook my head and coughed as a small chuckle escaped my lips. "I'm almost done down here. Why don't you go lay down."

As much as I wanted something to do to help keep me occupied, I didn't argue and nodded my head. As much as I'd like to deny it, I was exhausted so going and getting some rest seemed like a good idea.

I said goodbye to Herhsal and made my way back up the stairs. With everything that'd happened, I'd forgotten that Henry was in my cell and it wasn't until I reached the bars that I saw Glenn with him, squeezing the bottle.

"You okay?" Glenn asked.

"Yeah." I nodded. "I'm just gonna get some rest. Are you okay?" Glenn didn't say anything. Instead, he nodded in return and squeezed the bottle again. "Alright. I'll be in the cell next door so if you need to take a break just let me know."

Glenn nodded again and as he did, I made my way into the cell next door and almost threw myself down onto the bed, trying to catch my breath. To say I was exhusted and had no energy would've been an understatement.
