The day was here, In an hour she was going into the Hunger Games. She was very nervous. She knows that she can win the games but so do the Tributes from District 1 and Louis. Over the past few days, she had really formed a connection with him and she didn't want him to die, he deserved to go home to his brother for whom he sacrificed everything. He had more to live for than she did, he still had a little brother. Her brother was 7 years older than her, so it would be much easier for him to get over her death. But there was one reason why she needed to win, Finnick. She couldn't leave him alone, he would not survive if she were to die today. 

"Good morning Sunshine, are you ready for today?" Finnick asked. 

"I'm just a little nervous, my competition is fierce and honestly Louis deserves it more than me to get out," Lea admitted

"Don't talk like that, you both deserve it the same, but baby I need you to get out, I can't live without you!" Finnick said. 

"I know and I will try my very best Finn, but you have to prepare for what could happen," Lea said. 

Finnick simply nodded, but in reality, he was terrified of what could happen. What would he do if he lost her today? She was his whole world. 

"I have to get ready, see you in an hour," Lea said as she made her way back to her room.

Lea got to her dressing room where Tigris had laid out on the table. It consisted of some sporty leggings, a T-shirt and a raincoat. Since she only had a T-shirt, the arena did certainly not have a cold climate such as snow but maybe it was some kind of forest or desert. Lea thought by herself. 

She got dressed and made her way to the room where the tub was that she had to get into to be brought into the arena. 

When she got there, Finnick was already waiting for her. 

"Tributes please get to your respected places, you will go into the arena in 60 seconds," The announcer said. 

"Good luck, I know you can do this, I love you," Finnick said as he gave her a hug and one last kiss. 

"I love you too Finn," Lea said, she didn't say see you later cause she didn't want to make any promises that she might not be able to keep. Lea stood on the platform and rose into the arena. 

Once in the arena, she saw the clock standing at 60 seconds and then it started ticking down. She looked around and saw Louis on a few platforms beside her and Jacob, the male tribute from District 1 was standing directly next to her. The arena was like a tropical forest, it was very hot in there, and the temperature must be around 35 degrees Celsius. 

"10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2,1, Let the 69th annual Hunger Games begin," the speaker said.  

Almost everyone immediately started running to the Cornucopia, she knew that she had to get there to get some knives cause without them, she had no chance of winning. She saw that the careers had already gotten to the cornucopia and Louis was standing with them. Before she could get to the cornucopia, she was tackled to the ground. She tried to get up but saw the District 7 male hovering over her. She didn't have any weapons yet so she tried to kick him away but he was stronger. This was it, not even a minute into the games and she would die. 

"Four, catch!" She heard and she turned her head to see Jacob throwing her a knife. She caught the knife and shoved it into his the heart of a boy from District 7

She quickly got up and ran to the Cornucopia, trying not to look at the boy that she had just killed. When she got to the cornucopia, she took a belt of knives off the table, that Jacob had kept for her and put them around her waist. "Thanks," she said before she saw the female tribute from 8, coming at Jacob from behind. "Duck!" she screamed at Jacob, he ducked and she threw her knife right in the head of the girl, killing her on the spot. On the other side, the boy was coming at Lea to get his revenge for killing his district partner but she quickly turned around and threw her knife right in his heart.
