"Omg, Omg, Congrats, Lea," Johanna screamed as she ran up to Lea who was sitting on the couch of the victor's lounge.
"Thanks, Jo, did you know that he was going to propose?" Lea asked her
"We all knew, we even had a little bet going around," Gloss said as he and Cashmere walked up to them and joined the conversation.
"Seriously, you betted on me saying yes or no?" Lea scoffed
"Yeah, sorry but if it makes you feel any better, I knew you were going to say yes, there was no doubt so I knew that I was going to win," Cashmere said proudly.
"I knew you were going to say yes as well, there is just no way that Lea Miller was going to say no to Finnick Odair, you are a match made in heaven," Johanna said
"Oh thanks, guys, that is really sweet," Lea said
"Congratulations, by the way, I am so happy for you guys," Cashmere said
"Yeah, Congrats Lea," Gloss said
"But wait, if you two both betted on me saying yes, who said no?" Lea asked while Johanna and Cashmere both looked at Gloss.
"Seriously Gloss, why did you think I was going to say no?" Lea asked
"I didn't think you were going to say no, It was a fifty-fifty chance and if I won I would win all the money myself and now these two have to split it," Gloss said with a smile on his face.
"You are such a goofball," Lea said while rolling her eyes.
"So, how did he ask?" Cashmere asked
"It was actually so sweet. I woke up and he was not in the house but he had left a note, telling me to meet him at the first place we met, and when I got there my two friends from home were waiting for me, to help me get ready, then I got another note that led me to Mags' house, she is the oldest victor of four and she gave me a necklace with a picture of me and Finnick in it on the beach and then I just knew that he was at the beach and when I got there, he was on one knee," Lea giggled.
"Oh so like a scavenger hunt?" Johanna asked
"That is literally, the sweetest thing, I have ever heard," Cashmere said as she hugged Lea
"Where is the ring?" Cashmere asked
"I have it here," Lea said as she pulled out a necklace with the ring on it.
"Why, is it on a necklace?" Gloss asked confused.
"Well, I can't have people in the Capitol know, that we are engaged so I can't wear it on my finger but that way I can still have it close to me," Lea said
"Oh, I get it. That's smart," Gloss said
"Waaw, it's truly beautiful and It's 2 carats are you kidding?" Cashmere.
"You are so weird for knowing that kind of stuff," Gloss said while rolling his eyes.
"I'm a girl, of course I know," Cashmere said
"Uh, I don't know that," Johanna said
"Well, you're an exception," Cashmere sighed.
"No, you are just weird," Gloss laughed.
"Anyway, Can you guys promise that you won't tell anyone here?" Lea asked them.
"Of course, we promise," Cashmere said.
"Thanks, guys that means a lot," Lea said
"Ohh, I can't wait for the wedding," Cashmere said excitedly while clapping her hands.
