Chapter 62

The four of them were sitting on the beach, eating Croissants and Chocolate pastries. 

"That was delicious," Finnick said as he rubbed his stomach. 

"You should taste, the croissants I make in the bakery, they are even better," Peeta said.

"I'm sure they are," Lea smiled at him. 

Suddenly, they all heard screams coming from the other side of the arena. "That's new," Peeta frowned as they all stood up. The other side of the jungle started vibrating, and a big wave appeared from nowhere. It started high on the hills, and went down to the top of the trees reflected against the Cornucopia, smashing down into the seawater so heavily that they felt the vibrations all the way to the other side of the jungle. The whole sea was moving. Then the hovercraft appeared in the arena and picked a body up. They couldn't see who it was though, it was too far away. 

Boom. The cannon fired. 

"Someone's here," Katniss said as she immediately took out an arrow. Lea looked in between the leaves of the trees who it was and saw Johanna coming onto the beach with Beetee and Wiress. She also noticed that Blight was not with them. 

"Johanna," Finnick whispered. 

"Johanna," Lea screamed as she and Finnick ran towards Johanna

"Lea? Finnick?" Johanna screamed back in relief. She was very glad to see Lea and Finnick as she had been with Nuts and Volts the entire Games. 

"Watch the ankle," Finnick yelled at Lea as they were running towards Johanna. 

Lea ran up to Johanna and hugged her. 

"I am so glad to see you," Lea sighed in relief. She had heard cannons the past hours, not knowing who they belonged too, and each time she was afraid that it would be her Best Friend.

As Lea pulled out of the hug, she realized that her wetsuit was now full of red stains. 

"What the hell is this?" She asked Johanna who was now in the water, trying to get the red off of her. 

"Well, I got them out. We were all the way deep into the jungle where I thought it was going to be safe," Johanna scoffed while rubbing the blood off of her. 

"Yeah, we realized that as well," Lea sighed. 

"Then, the rain started. I thought it was water, but it turned out to be blood. Hot, thick blood! Coming down, choking us. We were stumbling around, gagging on it, blind. That's when Blight hit the force field," Johanna explained with an angry look on her face. 

"I'm sorry Jo," Finnick said. 

"He wasn't much but he was from home," Johanna sighed. Lea knew that Johanna and Blight weren't really friends but she still cared about him. 

In the meantime, Wiress kept on running in circles. Saying "Tick tock, tick tock," over and over again. Making Johanna sigh in Frustration. 

"What's wrong with her?" Katniss asked. 

"She's in shock," Beetee said as he was sitting down in the water. "Dehydration isn't helping, do you have fresh water?" He asked. 

"We can get some," Katniss said. 

"Tick tock, Tick tock," Wiress chanted as she shook Johanna by her shoulders

"Just, stop," Johanna yelled, trying to get away but Wiress kept on chanting. 

"Listen. Stop it! Just stay down!" Johanna yelled as she pushed Wiress to the ground. 

"Hey," Katniss yelled as she ran at Johanna. "Lay off her!" She screamed as she grabbed Johanna by her arms. "HEY!" Johanna screamed back, trying to push Katniss off of her.
