Chapter 19

Lea was sitting on the train on the way home, finally, she was going home. She would be home very soon, as the trip from the Capitol to District 4 was only a few hours. She couldn't wait to see her family again, especially her grandmother. She did have to tell her grandmother about her talk with President Snow, about all the things she said. She was not proud that she had to use her Grandma's story for her own leverage, possibly bringing her in danger but she simply had to find a way for her and Finnick to get out of the whole mess. She did tell President Snow, That Lucy Gray died, so maybe he won't look her her. 

Finnick was sitting next to her, "I can't wait for you to live so close to me, in the victor's village. The houses are really beautiful, you and your whole family will love it," Finnick said. 

"I actually really love my childhood home, but I guess I kinda like that I'm going to be so close to you," Lea said and Finnick laughed. 

"I can't wait for you to meet Mags, she is really great and has become a second mother for me," Finnick said. 

"I'm looking forward to it," Lea said. 

"You know, it's still 2 hours until we get to District 4 and we still have some time to kill," Finnick grinned looking toward the bedroom

"What do you suggest Odair," Lea said already knowing what he meant. 

"I think you perfectly know what I mean Miller," Finnick said as he took her hand and led her towards the bedroom, as Lea just giggled.

Once they arrived in District 4, Lea's Family was already waiting for her at the train station. "Kiddo, I am so proud of you, I knew you could do it," Her dad said as he came up to her to hug her. 

"I'm just glad to have you back honey," Her mom said as she hugged her. 

"Hey sis, good to see you again, I've missed you," Kai said. 

"Grandma, I've missed you. Without you, I would have never survived," Lea said as she ran up to her Grandma. 

"I told you, that knowing about the different kinds of snakes would come in handy someday, didn't I?" Lucy Gray laughed. 

Then two peacekeepers came up to her. "Follow us, we are going to escort you to your new home," One of the peacekeepers said. 

They all followed the peacekeepers towards the victor's village. Her house was right next to Finnick's, she could have a separate house from her family but she didn't want that. She had been away from them for a long time so she just wanted to spend time with them. Finnick was living alone, right across to his parent's house. Maybe one day, she could live together with Finnick in his house, Lea thought to herself as she giggled. 

When they entered the house, all of their stuff was already inside, while she was still in the capitol, they had moved all of their stuff from their old house to the new one. 

"Waaw, this house is huge, It's like 3 times our previous House," Pam, Lea's mom said.

"It is indeed, Kai we can have a man's cave in here," Lea's dad said as he went upstairs, Lea's mom followed him to look at the bedrooms. 

"This is so sick, thanks sis," Kai said as he kissed his sister on the cheek and ran upstairs after his dad

"What do you think Grandma," Lea asked Lucy Gray. 

"It's lovely sweetheart," Lucy Gray said

"Lea you got to check the upstairs, it's beautiful honey," Pam shouted from upstairs. 

"I'm coming later, I need to talk to Grandma about something first," Lea shouted back to her mom upstairs. 

"What do you want to talk about?" Lucy Gray asked with clear confusion visible on her face.
