The next few days, training took place. Annie and Tyson both did what Lea said and spent a lot of time at the survival station. As suspected, the careers didn't ask them to join their pack but that wasn't too bad. Annie received a score of 6 and Tyson a score of 5. They all viewed them as weak, so it all worked out the way Lea hoped.

It was now the evening before the interviews took place and Lea and Finnick were at a capitol gathering where all the major sponsors were. They now had to convince them to sponsor their tributes. Lea wasn't sure that Tyson was going to receive many sponsors. He did have that cute, young boy innocence over him and everyone in the Capitol really liked that but they didn't see much winning potential in him. Annie on the other hand, had the potential to receive more sponsors. She was liked by the Capitol people, and she had acted flirty but helpless at the same time so if Lea highlighted how important Annie was to her, some of her sponsors last year, may want to help Annie as well. She was going to try to get Annie as many sponsors as she could. Since she was going to focus all of her attention, she knew that Tyson was going to receive many sponsors and that would lower his chances of winning, but even though she felt really bad for Tyson, she couldn't bear, losing her Best friend.

Finnick and Lea were only there for an hour and they were already able to get them a few sponsors.

"Oh I'm sorry, I didn't want to get emotional but I just can't bear to lose my best friend. We have been best friends since we were 3 years old so you can imagine what I'm going through right now," Lea sobbed

"Oh dear, I can imagine, is there something I can do to help? You were my favorite tribute last year so I would gladly sponsor your friend," The man said.

"Well actually, what would really help a lot, no never mind. I could never ask that," Lea said

"Please, tell me dear. I am sure that I can help," The man said

"I think that the biggest obstacle will be to get past the cornucopia, so it would really help if they didn't have to get any weapons from the Cornucopia," Lea implied

"I can send your friend, a sponsor gift with a weapon that is absolutely no problem, what is her weapon of choice?" The man asked

"Her weapon of choice is a sword," Lea said.

"Consider it done," The man said

"Are you serious? You are a lifesaver. I will be forever thankful for this." Lea said with a big smile on her face. She actually had a feeling that Annie could make it out alive.

A few hours later, when almost everybody left, Lea was standing at the side, alone, finishing her drink when Seneca came up to her.

"Hey you, how are you doing?" Seneca asked

"Not great, the female tribute from my district this year is my best friend and I really don't want to lose her," Lea sobbed

"Oh Lea, I am so sorry. Come here," Seneca said as he opened his arms to give her a hug. Lea immediately hugged him back. She could use the little crush that Seneca had on her as an advantage.

"I wish that there was more I could do but unfortunately I can't. I can't control how the games are going to go," Lea sobbed into his arms

"I can give you some information but you have to promise that you will not tell anyone, you got this from me. If the president found out, it would blow my chances of getting head game maker one day," Seneca whispered in Lea's ear.

"Of course, I promise," Lea said

"The arena is a forest with a giant dam on the edge. The water is safe to drink but it is the only water that is safe to drink, the water in the rivers is poisoned," He whispered before leaning back, glancing around the room to make sure that the few people left in the room hadn't heard him.
