Chapter 23

One week later

Today was the day, today the victor games would take place. Lea was very nervous cause she really wanted to win. She was very competitive and didn't handle losing very well. She had been training a lot with Tyler the past few weeks, so she was in good shape but so were Tyler and Finnick so they would be her biggest competition. She wasn't worried about Livia or Nick, she knew she could beat them easily. 

"You ready?" Finnick asked as he came down the stairs. "I was born ready Odair, Born to win," Lea smirked. 

"Don't get your hopes up, we all know I am going to win," Finnick laughed. 

"We'll see, We'll see. Come on we have to go or we will be late," Lea said as put her jacket on, took her bag, and walked towards the door.

When they walked into the training school, everyone was already there. It was a sunday, so the training school was all empty. 

"Ah everyone is here so we can begin," Mags announced. 

"I hope you all slept well this night, cause you will need it to beat me," Tyler said mockingly. Lea and Livia simply rolled their eyes. Mags just ignored Tyler as she started her explanations. 

"Welcome everyone, to the first annual Victor Games," Mags shouted

"Annual? Is this going to be an annual thing?" Nick asked. 

"We'll see how this one goes first but why not, I think it could be fun," Mags said. 

"Okay, so the games go as follows: Each round we have three small games, these can be games to test your strength, your skills, your endurance, or your resistance. In total we have four rounds, after the first round, the person with the lowest points is eliminated and then the second round will be played with the remaining four players and so forth until we end up with our winner," Mags explained.

"We can just crown me as the winner and spare everybody the trouble," Tyler said proudly.

"We will see about that Johnson," Livia scoffed at him.

"Anyway, for the first round, we start with wall climbing, the first one up gets 5 points, the second one gets 4 points, and so forth and so forth. The second game is sprinting to the end of the room, doing 10 sit-ups, and sprinting back and again the first one back gets 5 points and so forth, and then the last game of the first round will throwing knives at 3 dummies, one in the heart, one in the stomach and one in the head. I will then be deciding who did it the best and with the most precision and that person gets the 5 points."

"Everything clear?" Mags explained

"Crystal," Finnick said way too confidently as he walked toward the climbing wall with everyone following after him. Everyone then stood next to each other, in position, waiting for Mags to give the signal to begin. 

"3, 2, 1, GO!!!" Mags shouted as everybody started climbing up the wall. Finnick was really fast and had a real headstart with Lea right behind him followed by Tyler, Livia, and lastly Nick.

"Ha suckers, I'm first," Finnick shouted as they reached the top of the wall.

"You just got lucky Odair," Tyler scoffed as he came doing from the wall.

"Great Job everyone, Finnick you get the five points, Lea the four points, Tyler three, Livia two, and Nick you get one point," Mags said

"What do you have to say about that Nick, I thought you were in the best shape of all," Tyler laughed.

"Don't laugh just yet Johnson, wait for the next rounds," Nick scoffed at Tyler.

"If you even make it to the next round," Livia laughed as Tyler reached out his hands to give her a high five. Everyone then went to the end of the room to get ready for the next game.
