"The Male Tribute for District four for the 73rd Games is Alexander Mave," Ella said as a familiar face came out of the crowd.
Alexander Mave? Why did this name sound so familiar? Oh god, this was Louis' brother. The one who was originally reaped to go into the games with Lea four years ago until his brother, Louis volunteered to go in his place. Lea had built a very good relationship with Louis during her games and his death had haunted her for a long time, they had dominated most of her nightmares. It had taken her quite some time to get over his death and now by seeing his brother. Everything was coming back to her. Louis dying in her arms, the guilt she felt. Alexander must hate her, after all, she was the reason his brother was dead. She had survived instead of his brother, ripping his whole family apart. She had never been able to face his family, her guilt was simply too much.
"Omg, no this can't be happening," Lea panicked as she fell to her knees. Before her knees hit the ground, Finnick caught her.
"Woah Baby calm down, what is wrong?" Finnick asked
"I can't, I can't face him, he is going to hate me," Lea cried out.
"What? why? the male tribute?" Finnick asked confused.
"Yes, that is Alexander, he was supposed to go into the games with me but then his brother Louis volunteered, and I killed him, I killed his brother," Lea panicked
"Baby, you didn't kill him and you know it, you were there for him until the very end. I'm sure that his brother will appreciate that," Finnick said trying to calm her down. He needed her to calm down before they got on the train before they faced the tributes.
"I might not have actually killed him but I'm the reason he is dead, I'm the reason they are all dead. I survived and they didn't," Lea said, still panicking. "I'm not going, I can't face him, I just can't,"
"Baby, you have to go. You promised Annie to take over her mentor duties until there is a new female victor, and I can't do it on my own. I need you by my side," Finnick said
"He is not going to accept my help," Lea said.
"I'm sure he will, he knows that he has to if he wants to win besides you might not have been able to help his brother but you can do everything you can, to help him win," Finnick said
"You are right, I am going to make him win, I have to. His parents are not going to lose both of their sons," Lea said.
"Come on, we have to go. Both tributes are already on the train, waiting for us," Finnick said as he stretched out his hand for Lea to take it. Lea took his hand and together they walked towards the train.
"Can you do the talking?" Lea asked Finnick before they got onto the train.
"Sure, if that makes you feel better, no problem," Finnick said before giving her a quick kiss on the lips.
When they got on the train, both tributes were sitting on the couch. You saw on the girl's face that she was very arrogant. Alexander was sitting next to her, with a nervous look on his face, avoiding any eye contact with Finnick or Lea.
"Hello, you two. My name is Finnick Odair and this is Lea Miller and we will be your mentors for these games. We both know how scary it can be, going into these games but we will be there every step of the way, tell you about our experiences and give you hints for when you are in the Arena," Finnick said as the female tribute stood up from the couch.
"Look, I'm sure you mean well, and no offense but I don't need to hear about your experiences and I certainly don't need your help. I don't know if you might have heard but I am the best of the best. I can win those Games in my sleep, so if you don't mind. I am going to my room, which I assume is there and you can wake me up when we get to the Capitol," Daisy said.
