District 13
"Let's welcome, one of our favorite victors on the stage tonight, Gloss Nicholo," Caeser screamed as Gloss walked onto the screen.
Cashmere immediately put both her hands over her mouth as she saw her brother on the screen, alive. Feeling a tear flow out of her eye. Until now, she had no idea how he was doing and whether he was still alive. She felt some kind of relief knowing that he was still alive. Kai immediately saw Cashmere's reaction and pulled her into his arms, kissing her on her forehead.
"It's okay, I'm here," Kai said while holding Cashmere.
"I am just so glad to see him," Cashmere cried out in Kai's arms.
"Now, Gloss, first of all, I wanted to ask how you are doing, with everything that is going on," Caeser asked as he put his knees over one another.
"Well, Caeser, I'm doing alright, given the circumstances," Gloss answered.
"I'm delighted to hear that," Caeser laughed. "I know, it's probably hard to talk about this, but what happened exactly that night? Tell us how you experienced it all," Caeser asked.
"Me and Cashmere just went along with Beetee's plan, because we agreed beforehand that we would Ally with Lea and Finnick but then Katniss shot her arrow at the forcefield and everything went black, next thing I knew I woke up here, in the Capitol," Gloss explained.
"So, you didn't know anything about the rebellion that they were planning?" Caeser explained.
"I promise you, Caeser, I had no idea, and neither did Cashmere. I was just glad to see that I woke up here, that I was rescued out of the arena," Gloss lied. "My sister wasn't so lucky and I miss her terribly, I hope that she is okay," Gloss sighed.
"We hope that too, Gloss," Caeser smiled at him. "I just find it so odd, since all the people who you are with knew about or were part of the rebellion, and yet you two didn't know a thing?" Caeser asked.
"I promise you Caeser, we had no idea. Many of us were played and left in the dark. Nothing was told to me and Cashmere and as you heard from Peeta earlier, he also wasn't told anything so I don't know who knew and who didn't," Gloss said, getting upset.
"Alright, alright, Gloss I believe you, I believe you," Caeser said.
"Thank you, Caeser," Gloss nodded.
"Now, you said that you were happy to see that you woke up here, after the games?" Caeser asked.
"Yes, of course. All of you guys, are my second home and I couldn't be happier so see that you all cared about me enough to save me," Gloss lied.
"Oh, I am so glad to hear that, We are happy you are here too," Caeser laughed. "Can I assume that since you didn't know about the rebellion, you are against it and you want it to stop?" Caeser asked him.
"Yes, that is true Caeser. I think it's madness," Gloss lied.
"What would you like to say to the Districts right now?" Caeser asked and Gloss sighed. He didn't want to say what he was going to say now but he had to, they told him beforehand that he was going to have to say it and he didn't want to disobey them and risk even more punishment.
"For everybody in District 13, please think for a second of what you are doing. It makes absolutely no sense and it has no chance of success. Drop everything while you still can, before it is too late," Gloss ended his speech.
"That was beautiful, thank you, Gloss," Caeser nodded.
"Now, folks, that was all the time we had today with one of our favorite victors. It was a pleasure to talk to you Gloss," Caeser said.
