Capitol

"They are really messing with his head, it's like they are altering all the memories that he has of Katniss," Lea sighed. 

"What do you mean, alter his memories?" Johanna asked. 

"Like he told me things like how when he died for a moment in the Games, Katniss didn't even care a little bit and that is not at all true. I was there, standing next to her and she was sobbing over his body," Lea said. 

"That is so weird, how can they even do that?" Johanna asked. 

Before Lea could answer, a peacekeeper walked in with Gloss by his side. 

"You get half an hour before I bring the both of you back to your own rooms, you better hope that nobody saw me bringing him in here," The peacekeeper said as he ushered Gloss in Johanna's room. 

"Thanks, peacy," Lea said with a big smile on her face. 

"Peacy?" Johanna asked as she raised her eyebrows. 

"I'm getting bored here, you know, it's been weeks of just being here and I am bored as hell. The only thing I can do is make up fun nicknames," Lea chuckled. 

"I know what you are talking about. I want to get out of here as well," Johanna sighed

"What did you mean about Peeta's memories, I heard sometimes before I came into the room," Gloss asked as he sat down on the bed next to Lea, across from Johanna. 

"They are altering his memories of Katniss," Lea said. 

"Are you serious? That is horrible," Gloss said. 

"I know, Poor Peeta," Johanna sighed. "Do you think, they are ever going to rescue us?" Johanna then asked. 

"I have no idea, I guess all we can do is wait and hope," Gloss said. 

"Do you guys really want to be rescued by the rebels?" Lea asked them. 

"Wait, don't you?" Johanna asked while raising her eyebrows. 

"I mean, they did abandon the two of you in the arena, they obviously don't care. If it weren't for the Capitol, we probably all, wouldn't be alive right now," Lea said. 

"I'm sure they did want to save us, the Capitol was just faster," Gloss argued. 

"Well no, in fact, the Capitol rescue hovercraft only arrived 20 minutes after the rebel one, so they had plenty of time, to rescue you all," Lea argued. 

"How do you know that?" Gloss asked. 

"Peeta told me," Lea said. 

"Lea, please, they are messing with both your heads. Think about it, when has the Capitol or President Snow ever cared about us? They are only using us for their own benefit," Johanna said. 

"She is right, Lea. I'm sure that the rebels couldn't get us out because we still had our trackers in so they probably couldn't risk it. They are probably doing everything to get us out of here. The Capitol on the other hand is using all of us. They are using you, for the interviews, to talk bad about Finnick and everyone in District 13, they are torturing Johanna to get information that she doesn't even have, and me, well they don't torture me anymore but only so they can still sell me off and as you said yourself, they are turning Peeta into some weapon against Katniss. You cannot keep on defending them," Gloss argued. 

"Oh god, they are still selling you? I'm so sorry Gloss," Lea said with a soft look on her face before giving him a hug. 

"It's alright, It's not like I wasn't used to it," Gloss sighed.
