Lea immediately jumped into the water and swam towards Peeta and the male Tribute from District 5. When Finnick saw he immediately jumped in the water after her.
Lea pushed the male tribute from District 5 and punched him in the face making him lose his grip on Peeta and fall back towards the stone path. She then took Peeta by his arm to prevent him from drowning. She saw Finnick swimming towards them.
"You okay?" Finnick asked as he reached them. They then saw the male Tribute from 5 come back at them.
"Bring Peeta back to the shore, I will be fine," She said
"I'll be right back," Finnick said as he swam away with Peeta on his back.
"You bitch, you are going to pay for that," The male tribute from 5 said as he pushed Lea underwater. Luckily Lea was able to hold her breath under water for approximately 6 minutes. Living in District Four gave her an aquatic advantage, so she should be able to beat his guy but she had to be smart about it and not immediately attack him back. She hoped that if she stayed underwater long enough, the tribute would think that she was dead. A minute later, the tribute loosened his grip on her but she stayed under, to make him think that she was dead and it worked the tribute smirked before trying to swim away but before he could, Lea grabbed his legs, pulling him down underwater.
As soon as Finnick got back to the Cornucopia with Peeta he wanted to jump back into the water to help Lea. But before he could he saw the male tribute from District 5 being pulled into the water.
"What the hell is going on there?" Finnick asked Katniss
"I'm not sure, Lea was underwater for a like a minute, then the male tribute from 5 thought that she was dead so he tried to swim away but before he could he was pulled under the water," Katniss explained.
"I'm going over there," Finnick said but before he could jump onto the water, a red pool of blood came to the surface of the water.
BOOM. The cannon sounded
"No, no please," Finnick cried out as he fell to his knees.
"Only one Cannon went off, so only one of them is dead and I'm sure it's not Lea, she is a pro in water," Peeta said trying to calm Finnick.
Then Lea came back up from under the water and gasped for air.
"Oh, thank god," Finnick sighed in relief before jumping into the water towards her.
"Are you okay?" Finnick asked her as he reached her.
"Yeah, I am don't worry," Lea said as they swam back towards the Cornucopia. When they got out of the water, Finnick immediately hugged her.
"Please, don't scare me like that again," He said
"I will try," Lea smiled at him before giving him a quick kiss.
"I am so glad you are okay, Lea," Katniss sighed in relief.
"We thought, we lost you for a second," Peeta awkwardly laughed.
"You are not getting rid of me so easily, takes more than being pulled under to kill me," She winked.
"What happened?" Katniss asked.
"He pulled me under and I knew that I couldn't win a physical fight against him so I just stayed under to make him think, I was dead and when he thought I was, I pulled him under and stabbed him," Lea explained.
"I'm so sorry, you were in that situation because of me," Peeta said as he looked down.
"Please, don't apologize, we are allies," Lea smiled at him.
