Chapter 57

That morning, Lea woke up and Finnick was already awake and was lying at his side, smiling at Lea. 

"Good morning, baby, you stressed for today?" Finnick asked her. 

"I mean yeah a little bit, even though there is a plan, there are still 10 people out there who want to kill me," Lea sighed. 

"I will be there to protect you any step of the way," Finnick smiled "Oh, by the way, did they tell you something about the plan, 'cause they said that they would reveal small parts of the plan to everyone but I never heard anything," Finnick said as he got out of the bed to put on his joggings. Lea did the same and also put on some sweatpants. 

"Oh right, I forgot to tell you that but last night before my interview, Plutarch gave me a note, saying that bread will be delivered to one of the districts and the number of pieces represents the hour that they will break us out while the District represents the day," Lea said. 

"Oh alright, is that all you know?" Finnick asked. 

"Yeah, that is everything that the note said. However, I have to tell you something you will not like to hear," Lea said. 

"What is it?" Finnick asked while raising his eyebrows

"Plutarch suggested to still try to kill Katniss, well not actually but pretend like I am so that Snow thinks that I am acting on his offer," Lea explained. 

"And how are you going to do that, without losing her trust?" Finnick asked. 

"I don't know yet, I still have to figure that out, maybe there will be water and then I can pull her under but release before she can drown of course," Lea said. 

"We, don't know that there will be water," Finnick said. 

"I guess I will just see what to do when we get there," Lea said while shrugging her shoulders. 

"Come on, we have to go downstairs to get ready," Finnick said.

"I will see you in there," Finnick said before giving her a quick kiss. Lea just nodded, trying not to get emotional. Then, the two walked towards their dressing room. 

"Hey Sarah, are you feeling better?" Lea said as she walked into her dressing room. 

"I am, thanks for asking, honey," Sarah said with a smile on her face. 

"Come on, let's get you ready for today, this will be your outfit. Everybody is wearing the same thing," Sarah said as she gave Lea her wetsuit. "It's a wetsuit so that means that there will be water probably," Sarah said

"That's great, I was already hoping that there would be water," Lea smiled as she took the wetsuit out of Sarah's hands to put it on. 

If there was water in the arena, she and Finnick were at a big advantage. Maybe Plutarch did it on purpose? Because they were the ones who had to protect Katniss and Peeta, so putting water in there was a pretty smart move cause she and Finnick could fight the best in water. 

A few minutes later, Lea had put on the wetsuit and went back to Sarah to do her hair. 

"Alright, so I was thinking a tight ponytail or maybe a fishtail braid would be the easiest in the arena, what do you think?" Sarah asked her. 

"Maybe do a fishtail braid, a ponytail moves too much when you run," Lea suggested. 

"Alright, a fishtail braid it is," Sarah smiled. 

"You are all done, come on we have to go to the airship that will take you to the arena," Sarah said. 

When Lea got to the airship with Sarah, there was a person already waiting for her there.
