The next morning, Lea wakes up tangled in Finnick's arms. She looks at him and sees that he is still peacefully asleep.

She thought back on the previous night, how amazing it had been to be reunited with Finnick in that way. She did not attempt to be quiet whatsoever, and she hoped that nobody in District 13 had heard their activities.

Meanwhile, Finnick slowly wakes up, immediately smiling once her sees her face.

"Good morning, Baby," Finnick said, with a big smile on his face.

Lea immediately smiled back. "Good morning,"

Finnick leaned in closer and kissed her. Lea gladly returned the kiss, cupping his face in both hands and deepening it.

Finnick slowly gets on top of her, not breaking the kiss.

"Finnick?" Lea called his name in between kisses. "Mm, yes, baby?" Finnick said, placing kisses all down her neck.

"Do you want to train with me today?" Lea asked him, making Finnick look up.

"Yeah, of course, baby," Finnick said with a smile before continuing to place kisses all over her body.

"Finn, I am serious, listen to me for a second," Lea sighed, slightly frustrated.

Finnick stopped what he was doing and looked at her, giving her all his attention.

"I just... I haven't trained in so long, and I'm scared I'm going to be completely out of shape. I don't want to do it alone," Lea rambled, nerves spilling out with every word.

"Don't stress about it. You were one of the best fighters there was, that doesn't just disappear. It's still in you," Finnick said with a soft smile, his voice calm and steady. "And even if it's tough at first, that's okay. We can train together until you're back to your old self. I'll be with you every step of the way."

"Okay, thanks, Finn." She gave him a small, grateful smile, some of the tension easing from her shoulders.

"Besides," he added, his grin returning, "I think there's something that might cheer you up."

"What is it?" she asked, eyebrows rising in curiosity.

"Well, Beetee designed special weapons for everyone on the Star Squad. He made me a new trident, and get this, it comes with a bracelet that has two buttons. Grey and red. The grey one makes it automatically return to me. And the red one? Sets the metal tips on fire."

Lea's eyes lit up. "That's insane! So cool."

Finnick chuckled. "Right? And Beetee made something for you, too, some kind of special knives. I don't know all the details, but I'm sure he'll give you the rundown soon."

"That's amazing. Beetee is the best," she said, grinning now.

Finnick then gave her a teasing look. "So... you want to go train now? Or do we still have some time left?"

"Hmm, what time is it?" Lea asked, wrapping her arms around his neck.

"It's 7:45," Finnick replied.

"Well, breakfast isn't until 8:30, so I'd say we've got about 15 minutes before we need to get dressed," she replied with a mischievous grin.

"Perfect," Finnick smirked. "Now, what can we do in 15 minutes, at least twice?"

Lea laughed. "Aren't you ambitious?"

"You know me, baby, I aim to please," he murmured, already trailing kisses down her neck.

"Mmm, I could get used to waking up like this," she murmured

"I can make that happen every day. Just say the word," he said, flashing her with his signature grin
