Lea woke up from the sun shining through the window and the sound of crashing waves just outside. She sat up in the bed and saw Finnick peacefully lying next to her, still asleep. She gave him a quick kiss on his cheek and got out of bed as quietly as possible, trying not to wake Finnick up. She got out of the bed, looked behind her, and saw that Finnick was still asleep, she had succeeded in getting out of bed without waking him up, Lea thought to herself but right as she took her first step, she tripped over her phone charger, falling to the ground and making a loud noise. But even that didn't wake Finnick up, that boy really is one heavy sleeper, she thought to herself. She got up and wanted to go out of the room but right as she wanted to take a first step she was pulled back in the bed by Finnick.

"Damn, I thought I didn't wake you up," Lea said

"You didn't, I was already up before you," Finnick smiled.

"Then why did you pretend to be asleep?" Lea asked.

"That way it's more fun when I pull you back into bed," Finnick said as he kissed her.

"You are evil," Lea said while rolling her eyes.

"Learned it from the best," Finnick said with a smile on his face. He was now lying at his side, with his hand supporting his face to not fall, just smiling at her.

"What are you staring at?" Lea asked him.

"Am I not allowed to stare at my beautiful girlfriend," Finnick said

"You charmer," Lea said while rolling her eyes

"Stop rolling your eyes at me," Finnick said

"Make me," Lea laughed and Finnick hovered over her and started kissing her neck. Lea put her arms around his neck.

"Can we just stay in bed all day?" Lea asked him

"I wish we could baby, but in 2 hours the victory tour is arriving here and we are having lunch with the victors remember?" Finnick said

"Urgh, well that's one way how to ruin my day," Lea said

"Why do you hate her so much?" Finnick asked confused.

"You know why," Lea said

"Baby, It's not her fault that they allowed two victors and it is also not her fault that Seneca is dead. You cannot keep blaming her for that," He said

"I don't blame her. I did at first but I decided to have an open mind during her party after the games but when Haymitch introduced us, she was the one who was rude to me, I wasn't," Lea scoffed.

"Why did you never tell me that?" Finnick asked as Lea just shrugged her shoulders. "What did she say?"

"She was saying how I wanted to be one of them, part of a community that profits from Children dying because she saw me with Seneca," Lea said, and a tear started coming out of her eye.

"I'm sorry baby, I didn't know that," Finnick said as he removed the tear from her face with his thumb.

"I was only up there with Seneca during the assessment because Snow told me to," Lea cried out.

"I know, I know, but hey she doesn't know that. She doesn't know the cruel things that Snow does to his victors, how he threatens everyone to get what he wants," Finnick said

"You're right, but it still hurt," Lea said

"I'm sorry for ruining our morning, it started off so good. My mood just got ruined as soon as I realized that I have to see her again," Lea signed

"I know a way how we can still salvage this morning," Finnick grinned

"Oh is that so?" Lea asked as Finnick started kissing her. Lea kissed him back and the kiss quickly turned into a passionate make-out.
